Offensive miracles are dead, mate. Just drop them and go full paladin with support miracles and FTH infused weapons.
Attack miracles were good back when we were able to nuke Darklurker on NG+ with 2 Sunlight Spears.
Right now even 50 FTH WotG hits like a baby's fart.
lightning spears did totally need nerfing though. just not THAT much nerfing

Having strong lightning spears was ok.
Having EVERYTHING weak to lightning was not.
My main issue is that they nerfed lightning spears until they were useless when they weren't even the most overpowered thing in the game.
they STILL haven't fixed the balance for hexes.
Just like I showed in my video, support miracles still work perfectly fine and can overpower the fuck out of you if you stack them. Sacred Oath + Sunlight Blade combined with a lightning infused weapon pretty much makes you unfairly strong in both PvE and PvP.
And despite what most people say, Heavenly Thunder is a really fucking good offensive Miracle with high Faith, if not better than other miracles. Lightning Spears are virtually useless now since they got nerfed and Blinding Bolt costs way too much Faith with too little spell casts to make it any worth it, you're better off sticking to the cheaper equivalent.

How's Wrath of the Gods? It seems nearly impossible to get it so I haven't been able to come close to achieving that level with Sentinels.

I can actually still one-shot a lot of people with it, or at least take off most of their health, allowing me to finish them off quickly. I use the Disc Chime instead of the Dragon Chime which boosts miracle power, so I don't know if that helps or not.
I tend to not use WotG so much 'cuz I feel it's borderline cheating sometimes. Unless I'm getting ganked, then screw it. :v:
Say, how's the weapon variety in Demons' Souls?
What I always liked and disliked about Dark Souls (only played 1 so far) was that there was a good variety of weapon styles, but the weapon variety kind of petered out into big greatswords and other generally large and heavy weaponry as the game went on with little progression for, say, rapiers. Obviously most things are viable with the right build but still. Obviously I can't expect the full feature list from an earlier game but it'd be nice if there was still a decent amount of styles to pick from.
Honestly I kept a variety of miracles in my faith character, it felt the 3rd most rewarding in my builds.
Funny enough, lighting spears are still deadly to players, sunlight spear can almost 1 shot somebody. Emit force has a wide hitbox and Force is a good harassment tool. Heavenly Thunder and blinding bolt are obnoxious for pvp, not much in love although they're decently spammable.
I kept at least 1 o 2 great lightning in my pve character since sunlight blade only uses a slot and any healing (except the rare tiers) uses 1 as well.
Regardless I hope ds3 will have fun faith builds.

It's good, but most of the variety comes from the unique boss soul weapons. God help you if you're a katana fan though because the grind for pure bladestone is real.

I got pretty burnt out on katanas after my Uchi run, I'm more of a spear and rapier guy these days for dex weapons.

In terms of movesets, every weapon of the same type is identical (with one exception, kind of), which sucks. There aren't a ton of weapons either, more in DS1 and 2.

Wait, where is that? Is that the bridge where the drake lands for a second and takes off?
Wait, where is that? Is that the bridge where the drake lands for a second and takes off?
It kinda looks like the underside of the bridge just past the Undead Burg bonfire. The place where the first Black Knight in the game spawns.

Some guy on my facebook is having a fit because he thinks this means "oh god they're turning DS into Splinter Cell".
What
there's already stealth spells in the game so tell your friend to stop being retarded

Use these exact words too.

To be honest, that would kinda be an intense/fun kind of mechanic for gameplay
being able to hug/put your back to walls/look around corners for ambush stuff.

I can't really think of anything you could really do that you can't do by standing behind a wall regularly unless you want to add damage bonuses, which sounds like it would result less in stealth and more "hug walls for damage bonuses".
I don't know if it changed in Bloodborne, but DS's enemy patterns were less wandering guards and more standing still in one place until they see you so I can't see much use for it.

Some enemies wander around in bloodborne. Same thing in the ds3 demo.

Nah just deleted him. Much easier.
Is there any reason to limit my soul memory? I'm currently at 3.6 million souls right now at about level 165 and I think I've done almost everything I can this playthrough except kill the ancient dragon and fight vendrick. But in theory, wouldn't the range for summoning just get wider and wider until the only people I wouldn't be able to connect to are the ones in other NG's?

As far as I'm aware the only reason to limit yourself is if you want to stay in range of a specific person. I have a character in NG currently who hasn't even done everything and is at 4.4 mil. I still get summoned for things, but usually by people in NG+ or higher. The range gets absolutely absurd the higher up the chain you go, I've been summoned by people in NG++ from the 4.4mil guy.

There's the agape ring you buy from Straid in Lost Bastille.
There's the agape ring you buy from Straid in Lost Bastille.
I'm asking why I should, not how I do it.
when you make a character for a specific purpose, like bell keeper invasions or rat king areas, you use the agape ring to keep yourself in the SM range of the people in that area
I'm asking why I should, not how I do it.
Simply keeping that SM range. NG\NG+ can connect to each other thanks to Scholar so really it's up to you. It's up to you, your SM is decent and mostly for people that might go NG+ or still doing DLCs. If you want to find those kind of people, then wear it.
The only exhausting parts are farming which made me lose about 3\4 hours to get myself the Drangleic Hollow Shield, Bastard Sword and Winged Spear at start.
