Couldn't fight Nidhogg so I ended up fighting a few dozen people on the iron bridge. Lots of gank squads, lots of draws. But also, a handful of clutch double kills. I had multiple people try to fight me but they all couldn't reach me in the end because my 7mil SM was too high for everyone. [i]Sigh.[/i]

Forgot how much i hate Ornstein And Smough fight, jesus.

I love darklurker. I have to talk to the oldfuck and give him a human effigy which is already bullshit, then I have to clear out a boring dungeon with a havel dude and some other idiots, then all of darklurker's attacks take away 3/4 of my health. Then he splits. I die, repeat process. I don't think I want that hex achievement anyway.

I don't think I want that hex achievement anyway.[/QUOTE] I'd say respec into a Sunlight Spear build because I used that and killed him in 4 hits but then I remembered From nerfed it so hard that you might as well sneeze at him to do the same amount of damage.

I'm not gonna lie. I had an easier time whacking Darklurker with a Greatsword rather than spamming spells at him. I feel as if any build could work against him, since all you need is to always keep both darklurkers on your screen so you can see what the twin is doing. That and don't stop moving.

I use an ultra greatsword+ gold pine resin, I usually get him to like 1/8 of his health then die because of the damage he does Should've killed him on NG instead of NG+

Ultra Greatswords really are the ideal because you can hit both of them at once. Or if you're ballsy, the spinning attacks on either the Halberd or Great Hammer 2H R2's.

I think the Shaded Woods portal has the easiest run to the boss, so if you're not using that you should try it

I just remembered that my awesome pyro character was on my gaming laptop. The one that had a hard drive failure and I had to wipe it and reinstall windows. Why does dark souls 2 not save characters to steam instead of relying purely on local saves?

I'm gonna' start a new playthrough in an attempt to re-create my Capra Cultist build at a lower soul memory. Mostly to stream snipe newbie players, but also to pvp with people at lower SM's. Feel free to watch me blaze through the game really fast. :B [url]http://www.twitch.tv/nidbutt/[/url]

So, in my first playthrough I accidentally killed the Daughter of Chaos [sp](Quelaana, if you so choose that name instead)[/sp] and in my NG+ playthrough I tried opening the shortcut to Lost Izalith but it seems no matter what I do the door won't open. Is it because I killed her or is there another reason?

You have to max out rank in her Covenant.

Update: I was moving my saves in between computers and found out that I had my saves from my laptop on my desktop :D

I think he might be talking about the pyromancy teacher. AFAIK she will show up if you have a +10 pyro flame.
