I watched the 18 minutes of BB and oh godness, if i can put up money for a ps4 and the game itself, my whole family would enjoy playing it.

Well, for me at least, my laptop can't run DSII and I planned on saving up for a PS4 to get stuff like Bloodborne and No Man's Sky anyway. Since this is basically a game of the year edition it's pretty much perfect for me as someone who hasn't even played the game yet.

Is it me or the theme of the Cleric Beast's theme in the 18 minute gameplay got improved?
I've been noticing this for awhile now, but nobody seems to bring it up. What's the significance of the elongated left arms the human enemies in Bloodborne have?

The only thing that looked visually updated and impressive was Majula. Everything else pretty much looks the same. Massively disappointed.
Cleric Beast honestly looks like a combination of Manus and the Old One from DeS
I thought he looked like Manus as well, he definitely seems to take a lot of inspiration from him. Huge, massive arm, shaggy, huge set of horns, similar attack patterns too imo.

yes that would be called the "Night time" or "dawn / dusk"
It's not as pretty as sunset, and I enjoyed the specular light on the Pursuer.

I'm fairly certain that it's in the Dragon Memories when you fight the Giant Lord and not when you fight the Pursuer.
Yeah, I see that now, with the face being pointed that way.

Woah that's a great spot actually, I thought both their arms were elongated but you can clearly see the right arm is much shorter
The axe wielding enemies even drag their weapon behind themselves as they walk as though it's troubling for them to support the weight of their arm
If you look at the Cleric beast its left arm is larger than its right as well (the wendigo which the cleric beast is based off of doesn't have this trait)
I'm guessing the area is themed around the cleric beast's specific beastification with some of the humans, and the rest of the humans have turned into werewolves (maybe the dogs carry the werewolf pathogen)
Side note if you look closely at the werewolves on the bridge you can see the remains of tattered clothing on their torso, love little things like that
Looks like Miyazaki has done it again with his attention to detail
I really sort of wish the original release of Dark Souls II never happened and they had just waited another year for it
And instead of Dark Souls II they could have called it Dark Souls: Scholar of the First Sin. Sounds much more mysterious as a Souls game should IMO.
I wish the same and also that would mean we wouldn't have the graphically dumbed down version we have now.

Yeah, this was supposed to be the game they actually had time to finish, whereas DKS1 was rushed.

Aldia's keep and the dragon aerie where my favourite locations and as much as a shit it was to play i gotta admit shrine of Amana looked (keyword looked) nice too
