Was there always a symbol for the burnt effigy effect? I have a new icon I've never seen before. Looks like a cracked orb with a line through it.

I stated it in my lore comment but [sp] I think Shanalotte IS Aldia. Both immortal beings that have transended above the cycle because of the experiments. Plus compare her right red eye to Aldia's left red eye.[/sp]
Is the update supposed to take forever to unpack? It's at 100% but won't finish.
Is anyone else not able to load into the giant memories? I have the ashen mist heart but I get kicked out back to a bonfire when i try to access one.

yeah mine took awhile to finalize after 100%
New boss was fun. Woulda beaten em first try but re-fighting Nashandra wore me down and I didnt pick up on the gimmick for a sec.
God dammit, Aldia just refuses to show up for me. I've tried everything to get him to appear after Nashandra, but he just doesn't.

Yes. Like I said, I tried everything to get him to appear. I showed pics of me visiting him earlier in this thread too.

Buddy, I am going to punch his ass into the next millennium after I lift the 3rd DLC. In fact, I think that might even be easier than using swords cause of the attack speed. It's not a particularly hard boss, just more fun than Sweet Watcher and Hella Defender & the New Friend [del]Geromy[/del] Nashandra.
Finally managed to encounter Aldia on one of my characters. The only thing I did different with this character was that I went and picked up the King's Soul and his armor in the shrine of amana. I have no idea if that's what did it or not.
Anyways, I recorded my encounter.

[sp]I don't think killing the Bed of Chaos destroyed the chaos flame. I mean the Old Chaos still exists and it was /pretty/ big when we see it.[/sp] Also it's implied humans can become demons like the Covetous Demon.
So does the new patch adds anything to the bell prince & princess / Heide?

Ew. The brightness / gamma and saturation are fucked.
Every time IGN do a graphics comparison video they fuck it up by having the gamma and saturation be completely different in the things they're comparing. It makes the video fucking useless.
