The X360 and PS3 are example of how bad DS2 looked on the last gen consoles while the PC version is best looking version out right now, so why not compare the best and the worst of the current version with what is suppose to be "best" version?

If it don't look like beta, I won't even consider buying it.

It really pisses me off that existing owners don't get the new enemy placements. What's the reason for that anyway? Just so they feel like they need to be paid for the minuscule changes they made?

That's just my guess though.

I get that those games aren't as graphically intensive but still.

After beating Dark Souls, I'm playing Demon's Souls for the first time. So I have a question about the message system. Why on earth are there so many messages that say "I'm in trouble, please recommend this message," and why do they have so many ratings?

I still haven't beaten those two dumb cats in the snow place. I managed to kill one and bring the other down to half, but then my monitor went to sleep for no reason. Like this game literally does not want me to beat them.

And then at the end of it you get 2 CTRL+C CTRL+V bosses.

[Sp]i just killed Aldia. Wow. Fucking WOW. That was just....oh my god. That was fantastic. Absolutely fantastic. And the music during the fight, oh my lord. Wow. I AM a little disappointed though, we have idea why Aldia is both absolutely massive and made of Chaos. How did he get that way? Why did he become the Scholar of the First Sin? I mean it'd kind of answer how because the First Sin was the Witch relighting the First Flame. But like fuck man, i need more lore.[/sp] Just occurred to me that this might be spoilers.

Is it just me, or have armor sets gotten shapelier on female characters in DkS2? I just bought the Elite Knight Set from the Majula merchant (it was my favorite armor set from the first game, I couldn't resist getting it again when I saw I was able to), and it looks like it has a little more curve to it compared to the first one (and I was a female character in that one, too).

Havel set is also less bulky

Have you seen some videos about the gameplay in the Forest of the Fallen Giants from the next-gen version? It feels more filling

Something that gets me about having to buy a new version, aside from the whole thing itself and probably not getting a discount, is that Steam users are screwed the most. It's not like we can take our old copies back and sell them, if we buy the new version we will forever have a useless copy of DS2 in our libraries. Yeah, old saves, but you get the point.

Have they stated the extent that stuff will be rebalanced in the new release? Will lightning and soul spears no longer be nerfed to hell, and bosses that can't 1hk regardless of armor?

has anyone tried moving their save files into the ones for the new version of DS2 just to see what would happen? EDIT: never mind people are just talking about the update
