Yeah, i don't even know what those items are, i've never bothered. Even with as much fire resist as possible and Flash Sweat there's still barely enough time for me to get across so i never bother.
You gotta roll into those large jars full of water. Combined with flash sweat it's extremely effective if you don't have flame resistant gear, and it's a joke if you have a flame quartz ring too. From memory one of them is the chaos flame storm and i know for a fact that the chest near the smelter's fog gate has the Phoenix shield which i love because you can nullify any flame damage if you infuse it with flame.
One of them is a pyromancy I wanted to get for the achievement, I barely managed to pick it up before death [editline]7th February 2015[/editline] The worst thing about them is that they're in chests and it takes forever to open them
Boy there sure are a decent amount of people using giant seeds in belfry sol
So I just started Demon's Souls yesterday, and I gotta say I love it. I haven't gotten very far, but to be honest, I think I like it more that Dark Souls 2 besides DaS2's refined mechanics. I'm alot more into it, the atmosphere is great, and it just feels... I don't know, better. Except the rolling. FUUUUUUCK the rolling. I also don't like the summoning rules. In DaS1 I liked to just leave my sign and continue on, but now I HAVE to be in soul form to do it? And if I succeed, I won't be able to be summoned again. Kinda sucks, but oh well. I guess it'll keep me from amassing huge amounts of souls.
Boy there sure are a decent amount of people using giant seeds in belfry sol
People have gotten ideas to ascetic to NG+7 and giant seed that way.
Up to lost sinner and i still suck, and i still cant summon. I can be invaded though, which is nice. got my first ever human invader since demons souls :/
What a great invasion i got in Belfry Luna. Invaded as red for aiding host and killed gray phantoms but he wanted to finish me off while i was busy with them and he got backstabbed twice by my grand lance. I wanted to drop some white soap signs but most of the people that summon me just camp the spawn and gank :v:
I'm so glad I could get all the variant weapons again.
I've been playing DS2 these last few days and I just now noticed the reworked items in majula, I really like that new Longsword.
Um, oops. I accidentally killed the person who makes stuff from boss souls. [sp]How was I supposed to know that the crow demon who haunted my nightmares after fighting through the Painted World in DkS1 was friendly in Dks2? It was pretty much instinct to carve up the damn crow. Dammit, why weren't there any player messages there to reassure me she was friendly?[/sp] So... Is there any way to fix this?
i'm pretty sure you can summon her back for 2.5k souls a pop. but it only lasts for as long as you're there. or is that just for people in majula?
i'm pretty sure you can summon her back for 2.5k souls a pop. but it only lasts for as long as you're there. or is that just for people in majula?
You can summon her there but she doesn't start making boss items for you until she moves to her new location, so if she dies there you either have to use a bonfire ascetic to reset the area or wait until NG+

Actually I'm not sure if the ascetic resets NPCs, I've never used one to do it. I just ended up waiting until NG+ to get what I needed. :v:

Anyone in NG around the 560k SM tier or above in need of some heide knight leggings/in possession of heide knight chainmail? Farming that shit on NG is hard enough as it is, and all I'm getting is leggings. My Piccolo cosplay will never be complete at this rate. Any help at all is welcome. In fact, I'll take spare bonfire ascetics as well.
So I just [sp]killed Aldia. Honestly, I wasn't too impressed. The music was amazing, and I loved his design and character, but the actual fight wasn't that interesting or difficult in my opinion. Better than Nashandra for sure, but still not that great.[/sp]

I thought it was a nice fight but holy shit he took a ton of damage. With my Lost Sinner's Sword +5 and Great Magic Weapon he was taking 1055 every jump attack.

There is only one thing left to find, before my cosplay is truly complete. The bone fists.
Just embarked on a Dark Souls mass co-op playthrough, to which the likes has not been seen since 2013. While I miss the immediate connection of the DSC Fix, we've so far had no problem getting five people together (except when random summons happen). Dark Souls is a great party game. And as we spoke about lots, it would have been cool to get a remastered/updated Dark Souls. Fix the bugs, finish the unfinished areas, add better textures, backgrounds and models, animations and add cloth physics, but don't change the core game play. Just imagine Dark Souls at the level of polish that was originally intended, and a complete game. Failing at that though, Demon Souls PC.

Think I'll take on Drangleic Castle now.
HOLY SHIT WAT Since when were Cracked Red Eye Orbs available for purchase in NG? And for 5,000 souls too

Looks to me like it would be a fantastic way to diversify your moveset.

Aw hell yeah, I got all the Old Souls, fully upgraded my Bastard Sword to +10 and added a lightning enchantment to it, and made my way to Drangleic Castle where I got my Faraam armor set. Unless I find a better shield I'm sticking with the Drangleic Shield, so I feel pretty badass right now. Goddamn, I'm really getting into this game. It's too awesome. Not gonna say it's better than the first Dark Souls, but it certainly is pretty damn good on it's own. I'm glad I waited until the Scholar Of The First Sin update was released before playing it, because now I know I'll be able to experience everything the game can offer in a single playthrough. Except the lady who made boss soul items. I'm still sorry for killing her. Apparently Straid can make some boss soul items, too (I found this out after releasing him from his petrification). I don't know if he makes the same items or different ones from the other person, but it's good to know anyways.
