Just got back into DkS2, what's the most viable SM/SL range for PvP right now, especially for BoB duels?

I think they fucked up the servers or something in this last patch. I've hardly seen anyone.

I was summoning / being summoned all day.

I haven't been cheating or anything. I just picked up the game after a few months break. I'm on NG though. But I thought this patch made it so NG could play with NG+?

How do you get the crazy map dude to give you his helmet? I'm trying to to the "assassination" sidequest the guy in Aldia's Keep give you without actually killing anyone, and I'll need his helmet.

Hell, just helped a dude beat up a dragon as Piccolo like 20 minutes ago.

I think I found my problem. Home Broadcasting was enabled, soon as I disabled it and logged back in summon signs where appearing.

I don't have anything but the game and Steam running, but I can't see any signs or get summoned. Going to email support to see if I'm banned for some dumb reason.

I don't think it's enabled since I haven't used Steam on my PC since late October or early November.

Latest patch changed last bonfire on map from "Beat Nashandra" to "Beat Throne Watcher and Defender".

Might but a Camp Lordran shirt towards Dreamhack Summer this year, too bad they really only have two designs (Sunbro shirt and hoodie being pretty much the same). Would've loved a a lone bonfire or similar.

Normally I wouldn't spend this much on clothing but I won a £50 voucher back in April, figured this would be a good time to get rid of it. :v:

Something I never noticed before, but your FoV always zooms out during a boss fight, then zooms back in after the battle's over. It didn't become obvious to me until Aldia's fight because there was no fogwall or cutscene to hide the transition. It also explains why the camera always seemed to strangely move closer to my character whenever I collected souls after a boss fight.

Well, it took me more tries than I'd care to admit, but I beat the Darklurker. One step closer to achieving my goal of killing all the bosses in DkS2. I was considering skipping the Ancient Dragon, but then I accidentally used a Giant Soul so now I kinda have to beat him if I want to stand a decent chance against the boss I need those Giant Souls for. Well, let's hope I can stand some sort of chance against that mofo.

Do NOT ascetic the second bonfire - it will still respawn the giants, but they will not drop the soul that way. For some reason only the first one will let them drop it again. [/QUOTE] Well I'm pretty sure the giants respawn regardless of whether you use an Ascetic or not. They just don't drop a new soul unless you Ascetic the first fire.
