Well, I didn't do that, but I did manage to kill the Demon. With that done, I've had yet another chat with Vendrick through the Ashen Mist Heart, and have now set off to Eleum Loyce. After I'm through here, all I'll have left will be Nashandra and Aldia, and then I'm done with Dark Souls 2. Man, this has been a rewarding journey.

John McDarksouls: "Can you cast Homing Soul Mass?"
Summonuel L. Jackson: "Why you think that? Because I'm black?"
JMD: "No, because of your high INT stat!"
SLJ: "Oh. Well, I can cast it, but there's only one problem..."
JMD: "What? What's the problem? Just cast it already!"
SLJ: "The problem is..." *cast Climax* "... it takes too damn long."

I can't really say I'm impressed with the people who invaded him.

Don't be sorry. It's too fantastic not to listen to.
Some of those people are literally blind. It's not that difficult to see him!

some people are no fun at all
some people are no fun at all
I don't know if it's just coincidence but it always seems to be the blues that are no fun allowed. Dickwraiths even going back to DaS had a tendency to be way more fun/"honourable" than dorkmoons.
some people are no fun at all
Arbiters are always the "no fun" police. Though I guess I can't blame them since they pretty much can only invade people who've been naughty themselves and therefore probably know pvp better than they do.
Still, I love fucking around with the moon police whenever they invade me and I just waste their time.
[sp]Sometimes I'll even intentionally let them invade me, then pass through a fogwall, wasting their orb. :3[/sp]

Yo, give credit to the noncorrupt officers who take time to help old merchants cross the street, help shaqolir out of trees, and actually fight off invaders.
I've been noticing this icon off and on lately and have no idea what it is.

I think it's the symbol for invasion blocking, as if you burned a human effigy.

Human effigy effect. Prevents red invasions and co-op signs from appearing. You can cancel it at a bonfire and it appears after you defeat the local boss.
Goddamn, I don't know which was worse, the Frigid Outskirts or the two tiger bosses at the end. Thank god that's finally over with. All I have left in Eleum Loyce is the Ivory King. I managed to rescue the three Loyce Knights, and I still have enough human effigies to summon help if I need any. Hopefully I'll have a better time with the Ivory King than I've had with all the other denizens of Eleum Loyce (seriously, how the fuck can ice bunnies be so deadly? That is some Monty Python shit right there!).

He's a really good boss, he's just kinda fast.

For future reference, Silver Talismans are your friend for the Frigid Outskirts

But I've never burned an effigy.

It automatically occurs after you beat any boss.
It's a weird feature they threw in unless people getting invaded right after a boss fight was more plentiful than I thought.
