It automatically occurs after you beat any boss. It's a weird feature they threw in unless people getting invaded right after a boss fight was more plentiful than I thought.
It's only ever happened to me once and i was invaded in the Church in DS1 right after killing the Gargoyles but it's really not that common. Still, neat feature.
I can't seem to buy the agape ring, although the game says I'm on patch 1.10. Can't find the scholar either, I'm on 360, do I need xbox gold? or do I need to buy the new version of the game? (Please tell me I don't)
You can put your signs even with the effigy effect, is it a bug or intentional?
what is it with bandai and making these fucking enemies that do damage by touching them its a terrible concept and provides no excitement to the game. these stupid fucking ice-rats arent even hard... it just sucks when its a guaranteed hit on me regardless of my dodging skills

I found out you don't take as much damage from the front
You can put your signs even with the effigy effect, is it a bug or intentional?
Intentional. It was mentioned in the patch notes.
Aldia is kind of boring He's just a blob that shoots fireballs at you, run up to him, hit him 2-3 times, roll away from the cheap fire damage, repeat He's still better than Nashandra with her curse
you can hit those curse balls to disperse them
I know but they usually curse me before disappearing, and I use an ultra greatsword so it's either switching to a fast weapon or getting cursed I don't even know what curse does, it hollows you and deals constant damage?
That's exactly what it does
Beat the Burnt Ivory King. I've set up a summon sign for farming Loyce Souls and helping others with the King. It'll probably take a while, but I want that daughter of chaos' soul. So, if anyone else is chilling out around there, wanna help me out?

Has anyone played Lords of the Fallen (asking here because I've heard it's a carbon copy of DS)? Is it worth picking up?
havent touched it in a few months but it was pretty fun, if you can get it on a lower price by all means pick that sucker up. it's not an exact copy of ds but it is quite similar and enjoyable. only thing it lacks is multiplayer.
What about the technical part? I've heard of bad performance near the release, but since that patches probably came out and I dunno
Has anyone played Lords of the Fallen (asking here because I've heard it's a carbon copy of DS)? Is it worth picking up?
It's pretty awful, don't touch it. [editline]14th February 2015[/editline]
What about the technical part? I've heard of bad performance near the release, but since that patches probably came out and I dunno
It still runs like shit and has tons of bugs. Also has the worst case of overdesigning and also an awful plot with nonsense dialogue options on some NPCs.
I thought it was ok.
I thought it was ok.
It's okay when you just blaze through it in a heavy build using hefty weapons, but the second you try to get the mechanics, try all kinds of builds, you notice how badly the game is balanced around anything that isn't about tanking hits and swinging big weapons. [editline]14th February 2015[/editline] I mean for christ's sake the only aggressive magic path you can take is so buggy that sometimes your magic just whiffs the enemies for no reason. And most of the spells in that path are also really damn useless because of the mana they consume and how you have a LIMITED AMOUNT OF MANA REPLENISHING SHIT. [editline]14th February 2015[/editline] It's just bad, don't bother.
The gameplay is similar to Dark Souls but from a design standpoints its totally generic, the games is only location is snowy castle and the enemy variety extents to demons and zombie demons. As for the actual combat its fine until you get the guys with the shields that are like the ones in dark souls only there's no way to break the guard and their attacks have no wind up or telegraphing. So you're either hitting the shield or rolling, but they have such a small amount of recovery time after attacks by the time the roll animation finishes they've already turned and put the shield back up.
Today I used a cracked orb in Iron keep and invaded someone in the gutter what
blue or red?
blue or red?
blue, using blue can connect me to sinners anywhere? if so thats nice, I'll use blue from now on since it makes invading more interesting and they're easier to find
Blue orbs and the Guardian's seal will take you on a magical journey.
Damn, getting Loyce Souls is so damn chance-y. Sometimes I'll be summoned to help out with the Ivory King and there'll be no Loyce Souls at all, other times I'm practically swimming in them. This is going to take a while, because I've been doing this for a couple of hours and I only just hit 19 Loyce Souls. This is how I'm spending Valentines Day. I'd say it'd be worth it helping others beat bosses, but I've only been on one successful run at the King out of all the times I've been summoned. It doesn't help that most of the people who have summoned me haven't bothered rescuing all the Loyce Knights.
I heard loyce souls aren't affected by item discovery, and wearing stuff with that will make the armor and weapons appear more.
Me, too, that's why I don't use them. Sometimes I see people who do, but I don't think it's connected.
Oh mastodon halberd, why can't i quit you.
Well, I decided to resume my Komrade Yuri playthrough after a long absence. I have, however, hit a brick wall with Velstadt. For a character who can only use hammers and sickles, what's a good strategy? I know he's weak to lightning and I can do some damage, but I am way out of practice with this game and keep getting hit, which takes off a good 1/2 my health.
