Anyone know the average soul memory for some of the bosses? I'm doing my first play through of dark souls 2 and I'm worried I've gotten too many souls to coop.

It doesn't really matter, pretty much however many souls you get from the first area is enough to go to the next, or you could just do a SL1 build.
I fucking hate when someone invades on the iron bridge, most of the time it's a hex spammer/washing pole/ice rapier/some other magic shithead that kills me in 10 seconds
Doesn't help that every sorcery looks the same, opponent raises the catalyst and you don't know what comes out of it
melee is the only good thing in dark souls how is magic even fun
It fucking hurts not having a PS4 right now.
I don't know if I'm gonna watch a playthrough, or somehow manage to go unspoiled for years until I can get the cash to buy a TV + PS4.

See the issue is that I'm up to dragons airie and I feel like I might have collected too many souls by farming a bit to get the souls to buy items.

But it really doesn't matter is what i'm saying, unless you're specifically trying to co-op then you're fine to do whatever and even if you are you'll find people at all ranged. If you're worried about it, go buy the Agape Ring from Targray so you won't gain any more Souls or SM.

Feeble cursed one! -Straid
NG+ only.
God damn. I really don't want to run through the whole game just for that, but I don't think I can find someone to trade/drop it at ~150K SM.

Ah alright, thanks.
what's a good strength orientated weapon that isn't a club or hammer thing, something small-ish?
Axes, I particularly loved the bandit axe.
The bandit dagger is also a STR dagger and the broadsword leans move towards STR than the longsword does.
I might try a lumberjack build then :v:
I'd say the Red Rust Sword, you can get it from Vengarl after you kill his body right after the Freja fight, which you can rush through pretty quickly, upgrades with Twinkling Titanite and has an S scaling in strength at +5 along with the decent base damage. Pretty sure it uses the Axe moveset anyway. The Butcher's Knife is also fantastic but that'd take a while to upgrade and you'd need to Ascetic the Rotten. Howver the most bang for your buck that you'll probably get without pushing your strength stupidly high is the Mastodon Halberd.
You don't need to ascetic the rotten. That's fr the Old Dead One's soul for the blacksword.
Yeah, you're right, that's my bad.
-snip- Nevermind, I fixed it. I did end up getting this really cool new desktop background out of it however:

it's stupid how excited i am for bloodborne
What's this smaller-than-1MB update?
it's stupid how excited i am for bloodborne
PS4-less, but still excited.

Some bug fixes about the Scholar and if i'm not mistaken, critical damage between NG+ and NG++ raised.

I am so hype. I'm gonna have to find a friend who has a ps4 and shack up at their place for a few days
Bloodborne actually had like 60% influence on why I bought my PS4 to begin with. I am also stupidly hyped for it.
My brother is going to help me buy a PS4 on my birthday, so we can have some coop action when it's released.
The combat just looks way faster compared to DaS and DaS 2, and even DeS. And aesthetically the game looks gorgeous.
I wish fashionborne was still something i could look foward too.
picking sweet armour and weapons was a major appeal for me in DSm DSII

Is there a reason why it isn't now?

Well it's not going to be in bloodborne is it.
...is it?

There were different clothing sets shown through out the released footage (especially the co-op trailer), so I assume yes?
Yeah, they have made it clear that clothing and customizable characters are in but seem to hate showing it off
