well one thing i can say is that heide knight armour drops from base bonfire now. also they respawn. gotta grind fast.

better lighting I think? i'd need to see direct picture comparisons because it doesn't seem any different at first glance (other than the few things that are worse like shadows)

Wasn't this more pushed by bamco than fromsoft?

I'm tempted to get this because my circle of friends is four people including me and we'd all be able to play together. Honestly that sounds like a different experience unto itself and considering what I've already gotten out of Dark Souls 2 I personally think it's worth it.

Considering it costs as much as the Season's pass, there is no excuse to have basically no content, fuck off with the "graphics Upgrade"

What is going on with this game? First launch took forever to load, got to the hags house and the texture quality was ass on max graphics, quit out and restart, loads a bit faster, textures improved, get to character creation and the armor/weapon models didnt load, and the icons for most items on the right didnt load either? Is this game streaming content after i have already downloaded 18gb~ of data?

It makes shades pop but simultaneously washes everything out more compared to the dull shades of the original release.

Oh shit it's actually 25€ which is the same price as the season pass, this is perfect for me Bit bummed out that it's a separate game since I'll have to deal with new saves + having to get all the achievements again, but it's nice eitherway.

anyone know what the new items/weapons are?

I took a look at the changes that somebody on reddit kept track of, sounds like they just randomly stuffed enemies where there weren't before. GG

I really enjoyed Dark Souls 2 so this is a perfect excuse for me to replay it again. I'm finding it hard as fuck though, especially against the Heide knights.

I just tried Scholar of the first sin. Crashed on start up every time. $20 well spent. Over all though, it looks like they just improved some normal maps and point lighting.

Mine runs fine, It just all feels a bit lackluster.

So as a person without any of the DLC, is it worth it to buy scholar of the first sin?

I heard SotFS is a lot harder than the original. It was tough enough getting the illusory rings the first time so I probably won't be buying, because I can't sleep at night without my favourite shield-hiding ring.
