I hate it when people try to play hero.
Got summoned to an apostle in distress and when I arrived he had already summoned another white phantom. The Invader saw me and the other phantom, panicked and ran into a narrow hallway and the host, having a small army behind him, could think of nothing better but to just follow him straight up into the hallway.
Needless to say, he got bursted by the invader's hexes while me and the phantom were unable to get past the host.
Please guys, if you ever have an arbiter spirit or a phantom at your side while being invaded: Let them take the pain first.
I see this in many games
when I play medic in tf2 people think they are immortal even though I don't have the stock medigun OR an ubercharge, and run straight into a sentry out of the blue
of course the opposite is the worst. I've had a player point at a fog door when I was summoned by him... over and over, clearly trying to get others to do HIS JOB.
yes, good job on not knowing that summons can't go through fog doors, you tit

tbh all I'm seeing from images is nothing but enemys being shoved onto the map way more
better enemy placement is cool but 20$ for this? especially when they turn it into a mobfest?
I LOVED ds2 and its dlc but I'm not sure I could buy this
Is this the end for this dlc?

I beat these two bosses without dying and was kinda wishing they were more difficult. It was still really fun though.

There's one more.

Could someone please make a list of all the areas one may get invaded by the Forlorn, along with screenshots or descriptions of the exact locations?
Spending the day assisting on freja as i think im pretty underleveled for drangleic castle

It seems completely random. I've been going through the game on three different characters and there's no rhyme or reason to it. I've been invaded in nearly every area by the forlorn.
If i level up a bonfire to 2, can i still be summoned to intensity 1 worlds for that area?
If i level up a bonfire to 2, can i still be summoned to intensity 1 worlds for that area?
Yes. Intensity corresponds to NG difficulty level, but it doesn't actually advance that area to NG+.
I don't get it. Am I supposed to buy the Upgrade or the full price (40€) version of Scholar of the First Sin since I don't own the DS 2 DLC's?
Saw a message saying "Impossible..." in front of the chest you get Denial in, in the Sunken King DLC.
Laughed harder at that than I did the first time I saw "Listen carefully, skeleton..." near that wall-hugging skelington in Harvest Valley.
Where does Gavlan go? im in need of poison arrows!
Hes not at the no mans wharf shortcut, hes not at the usual spot in pharros, and im clueless as to his other locations
Has From said anything about all the people having issues with crashes?

I'd say go for it.
Before going to bed yesterday, I finished Lost Bastille and I am still completely fond of Scholar of the first sin.
And as many people, including me, already stated: It's not really just a mobfest. True, there are some areas where you get flooded by enemies but that's not the majority.
Instead, for an example:
[sp]They removed these mutant beasts in the flooded hallway just before the sinner in favor of another flexile sentry and there are 2 mummies behind the two upper doors above the gate you have to pass to get to the sinner. I didn't expect them there because there was nothing in the original DS2, which resulted in them dropping down and throwing Lucathiel and the new NPC right into the water. Had to solo the Sinner then. :( [/sp]

1st Gavlan location is where you open the iron door "shortcut" in No Man Wharf (aka vanilla Lucatiel's summon location)
Rest haven't changed.

Yeah, as i said in the quote he wasnt at the no mans wharf shotcut. I assumed his other locations had changed to, but i found him at the earthen peak cave. hopefully ive moved him on to pharros now
Only thing I really hate is how you can now get ganked by THREE invaders in bell tower.
A quick question that's probably been answered before, How's the liveliness of DS1 pvp?
The core mechanics in DS2 just don't agree with me, plus all the controversial patches that they did and softbanning scares the crap out of me.
Speaking of DS1... Anyone not been seeing messages lately? I was walking around the lower half of Undead Burg the other day and felt something was off until I realized I'd not seen a single message on the ground in forever.

I think my favorite message I've seen in all of the souls games was one I found in front of the repair spell in the shrine of winter (vanilla, non-sotfs dark souls 2)
"Equipment breakage? Not here!"

Harvest Valley, in the little poison alcove behind the first enemy you meet.

I like the ones in front of the Abyss portals that say "Be wary of darkness, or something"

All the souls games message systems (especially Dark Souls 2) are really really fun to play around with and read. Probably one of my favorite parts of the multiplayer community. The biggest disappointment for me in Bloodborne was definitely the new, dumbed down messages, feels like I can't put together anything as coherent or funny as in the first few.

My favorite was one in the hallway before the elevator room in Drangleic Castle that said "Visions of fatty and then tears." When you round the corner there's a mirror there.

one of my favourites, the other message answers by saying 'boulder'
The dagger has no business being so bloody powerful, I can't stop using it.
Using it with the stone ring and a spear offhand (either pate's or dragonslayer), you stay at a distance, you get poked by the spear, you get up in my face, you get an almost instant flurry of slashes. Infused hits like a truck considering how ridiculously fast it is and how little stamina it consumes
It really fucks with people's brain, I don't know why I don't see more people using it
Obligatory 'Amaging Chest Ahead'.

well, I guess the last thing holding me back and going "Yolo" is, can I play it above 60 fps?
Obligatory 'Amaging Chest Ahead'.
Need holding with both hands.

I was playing Bloodborne earlier and I think my favourite message so far is right in from on an ambush spot someone put "Oh! Monster!"
what makes messages so funny for me is I imagine them being read out in a really friendly tone, so stuff like 'Don't give up, skeleton!' is hilarious when I see it for the first time
Since Sotfs, i've been seeing so many skeletons and it still cracks me up seeing "Skeleton" messages.
Best message I ever saw was "Good job, Fatty!" after falling through the floor in Shaded Woods.
