[sp]You can find a grand lance after getting the soldier key and going through the door near the ladder in the forest of fallen giants.[/sp]

[sp]By the king's door thing opposite the elevator to the Last Giant, it's in a chest by the entrance to the door, don't need the king's ring to get it.[/sp]
thanks
Something very odd is going on. I just crossed 8 mil in soul memory in Scholar of the First Sin. I'm still on NG, and I've never used a single Bonfire Ascetic. I've decided I want to clear out every boss and milk as much as I can from the first run before moving on to NG+1.
Enemies all of the world that had stopped respawning are now respawned again.
Furthermore, they never stop respawning now. I'm back from three hours spent farming the fire salamanders in Forest of Fallen Giants for awestones and pyromancies. Neither they, nor the soldiers in the area, have stopped respawning.
I mean, I'm not complaining, but is this a bug? Or an intentional thing?

Did you join the Company of Champions? They grant unlimited enemy spawns.

Oh! That's it. Nice! I had no idea!
Should call it Company of Farmers.
Does that apply to things that normally wouldn't respawn like phantoms and Heide Knights?
So I'm in the process of going through the original Dark Souls for the first time, and I'm wondering what everyone's opinions are about the best/better strength weapons.
I've heard a lot about the Man-Serpent Greatsword and its scaling, and after getting it to +10 its pretty damn good. I'm assuming going the standard path/raw path are the best for raw strength characters?

Not the answer to your question, but he's playing scholar of the first sin where Heide knights respawn as often as any other enemies you encounter.
There we go, the Vanquisher's seal is now mine.
How do you access the DLC areas in Scholar of the First Sin? I recall just being able to get through the doors after buying the DLC, but now they're just closed.
For some reason the screen goes black every 5 minutes in Scholar, and the only way I've been able to fix it is to double tap the windows key. I've died so many times from suddenly being unable to see.

The keys are scattered throughout the game now. [sp]Dragon Talon is in the pit in Majula. Heavy Iron Key is in the area with all the flame lizards in Forest of Fallen Giants. Frozen Flower is located shortly after the first bonfire in Drangleic Castle.[/sp]

The keys for the DLC are scattered throughout the game world. If I remember right, the key to the Sunken Crown DLC is located in the chest under the mansion in Majula, the key for the Iron Crown DLC is located in the fire salamander pit in Forest of Fallen Giants. I forget where I got the Ivory Crown key. Might've been Aldia's keep, but I'm probably misremembering.
Can you still get the re-skinned weapons in SotFS? (Blue Murakamo, White Katana, etc)
So I've been fucking with the framerate in dark souls 1 and using an FPS limiter to compare the difference
at 30 fps everything is normal
at 120+ fps run speed is reduced greatly but the game SEEMS to run "ok", but it runs like such shit that good luck maintaining it
at 15 fps the character can run twice as fast and the camera doesn't keep up as effectively... apparently, but any lower and the game goes full spaz. Playing the game at 15 fps though is pretty useful if you want to do a speed run, as the character definitely... FEELS and looks like they are going faster. I don't have proof atm but I used (http://exkode.com/dxtory-features-en.html ) to limit the framerate to 15 fps so you could experiment yourself if you want to do that.
that's some really bad programming really

Almost perfect. Just the eyebrows are off.
How would I go about fighting Aava, The King's Pet? I am a Melee focused build with a bow just in case.

Its attacks are really easy to dodge. You can usually get a hit or two in after you dodge.
[editline]9th April 2015[/editline]
And dodge toward him.

Check out the new recruits.
Also, why did they change it from "Touch Bloodstain" to "Touch pool of blood"? Seems like an unnecessary change.

Because it's an area where there are a LOT of bloodstains, whereas in the past you could just view one at a time. I approve!

That's an interesting feature.

sotfs in a nutshell
sotfs in a nutshell
except sotfs feels more enjoyable to play and shit is just more logical due to gear and enemy reshuffling

standard path in dks1 is pretty much always the way to go, unless you specifically build a character around another upgrade path

Standard path for scaling, Lightning path for OP as fuck for the whole game cause most things are weak to lightning.
