I've been invading all day and have nothing but chunks
Dude you have to talk to the bellkeeper to get his stuff.
Alright here's stuff about sotfs that I would have wanted to know about before I bought it All of the newly added npcs are as smart as the dlc, they have good ai, gesture and throw carvings all the time. Unfortunately, all the existing ones are unchanged. Lucatiel has no personality, gets in the way a lot, and sometimes doesn't even notice she's being attacked. Theres hidden item hollows around but theres also sometimes a super fast completely naked hollow that runs away the moment he sees you. So far every time I've gotten him hes dropped the same smooth and silky rock the invisible guys do. Everytime you beat forlorn straid gets a new item. lighting torches sometimes does stuff. man this is great, its like I'm almost playing bloodborne.
wait, wasnt that in the patch notes?
It was for the DX9 version. I guess they forgot to put in in SotfS or something. You don't get smooth and silky stones for the rat covenant, either. It might have been by design because of the NPC phantom you can find in the belfrys make them a lot of easier if you're the host, maybe
Theres hidden item hollows around but theres also sometimes a super fast completely naked hollow that runs away the moment he sees you. Speedy hollows have given me repair powder, burs, human effigy, stones, and life gems. It seems they just drop random consumables.
Speedy hollows have given me repair powder, burs, human effigy, stones, and life gems. It seems they just drop random consumables.
That's pretty helpful
I love the speedy hollows. They're so amusing, what with their fast walking animations. Chasing them fills me with the lightness and brevity of a child catching butterflies, except the butterfly is a diseased and naked man and I'm trying to beat him into the ground instead of simply catching him. Other than that, it's pretty much the same.
Is there more than one? I only know about the one in Huntsman Copse
Need to pay attention to where i'm posting. I ended up posting something about Bloodborne here. Sorry about that. I might be tempted to buy SotfS later on. Depends if i can get it cheap enough preowned.
found an afk bellboy [t]http://i.imgur.com/c9yQwH5.jpg[/t] sorry about those two rings i broke unfortunately he eventually disappeared
Anyone got this? I had 3 giants spawn on me in the cave in black gulch, I thought it was something new in SotfS but I got there in NG+ and there's only two [thumb]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/102775431/DarkSoulsII%202015-04-08%2022-49-06-71.png[/thumb]
BASHFUL RAY??????????????????????
There's another Giant added for every Summon you have.
That's pretty evil Especially considering NPC summons can't actually follow you here
BASHFUL RAY??????????????????????
What, he's the coolest summon
No ive just not heard of him
Does anyone know where the Sunset Staff is in SotFS? It's no longer in the mimic chest in Aldia's Keep.
Guys pls :<
Guys pls :<
I have no idea, but maybe you're required to get it from Felkin in some way now.
There's another Giant added for every Summon you have.
Max summoned phantoms = Too many giants in one small cave. Its not a case that they are cowardly, they are throwing a damn party in there.
I forgot to beat up a big dark knight guy in Undead Parish and he was giving me the business. I fell down the stairwell and he followed me. Only problem was that he was stuck against me and the wall, but not on the ground. His giant metal crotch was in my face as he was stuck in the falling position until I killed him. Easiest titanite shard yet.
I have no idea, but maybe you're required to get it from Felkin in some way now.
Yeah he still gives you it at 20/20 int/faith, or straight up killing him after you've bought everything from em.
That would really suck if that's the only way to get the staff now. I really don't prefer killing NPC's and this new character on SotFS isn't a spellcaster. Damn you, Navlaan. :T
A mimic still drops it, I'm just not sure where I moved it to. I have it though.
Masterless Glencour is like Iron Tarkus 2.0, he was just standing there taking hits from 4 gargoyles at once while I was picking them off one by one and he still survived the fight with 1/4 of his health.

For those playing Scholar of the First Sin on ps4/ xbox one and those playing at 60 fps on pc, it looks like FromSoft have finally acknowledged the weapon durability issue and are on their way to patching it.
“The fix will be issued for PS4, Steam and Xbox One, and will be apparent for people running the game at 60fps as the durability decrease rate is linked to the frame rate,” said the company. “We are still working on the exact release date for the patch, which will also fix additional issues not just durability, and will follow up with the date as soon as possible.”
source

Found an Amana Priestess in an unusual spot, kneeling. [t] http://cloud-4.steamusercontent.com/ugc/28487861209634993/84FA4E844B5298492629261A1A117F58968AC92B/ [/t] But Hunter Schmidt doesn't care and shot her to death (including a butterfly in the Demon of the Dong arena)

Thought it was friendly because it never attacks you when you walk by. But it does become hostile when you walk directly next to it. Also, I have a theory that to fix the weapon degrading issue they just halved the durability drain. When the patch is live, can anyone set their FPS to 30 to confirm or deny this?
I love this thing so much Shenanigans aside I found something it excels at in pvp and it's punishing estus drinkers: you can often bait people into healing by just backing off a bit, worst case scenario you completely cancel out their heal but more often than not you'll outright kill them
