How are you losing a single match with that setup

edit: i don't know any better than this, honestly (a part from the weapon)
I don't know what weapon that is, but it probably doesn't require that much str/Dex. Also you don't need that much endurance.
I'd reroll for 50 vig, 20-30 end, whatever adp you need for at least 95 agl.
Swap steel protection for life ring +2/+3 for like 2500 hp. Get flame weapon cause its pretty much free.
Get 40/50 str or 40dex on whatever your weapon scales with. If scalings not that good, get required str/dex and infuse with fire for flame weapon.
I'd also play with an offhand weapon or shield just so that it gives you more options for block/parry/whatever
Also if you died and lost your souls a lot, you're probably under leveled for your soul memory.

it's not about losing, which i don't, it's more about enjoying the game more because i'm using this set for most of my gametime
How are you losing a single match with that setup
Probably cause there are builds out there that will 1 shot him with only 19 vigor :v:

first off reallocate your stats hard. Santier's spear has No Scaling iirc so make it raw
But if you wanna try something fun, try a double casestus build for PvP
It's not just about PVP i should have mentioned, i just feel like i could enjoy the game ALOT more with a build that is not this
Again, Dual Caestus
lord lift accepts no substitutes
wow no jokes i'm already enjoying this new one alot more

the dlc weapons are fun to use. smelter hammer, yourgs spear, and bone fist are what i've had the best luck with. You can always give powerstances a shot too. of course theres always magic though the constant buffing gets old after a bit.
I've got dual poison Manikin Claws as backup on my character. Good idea / bad idea for a Dex build?
Also, a friend drew me with the Forossa Armor. It is now my avatar.
I've always wanted to try something elegant like rapiers, curved swords or reapers but I just cant decide which to use.

did the poison infusion increase the bleed rate like it does on the claws?

Poison on claws increased bleed but decreased base damage a bit. But on Manikin claws, it increased bleed as well and also increased base damage.
I'd have to get a poison claw +10 and poison manikin claw +10 to completely show their potential in SotFS but I'm not far enough to afford / do that yet. At base, Manikin Claw was slightly stronger.
wow, I know what I'm going to be farming. Should be pretty fun with bleed and poison covenant rings on.
Did they ever announce what day the durability bug patch would come out?
Apparently the two arenas are now going by soul level? Or has it always been like that?
Whats the pvp meta level if thats the case?

they're supposed to be soul level but if they can't find you a match they match you with whoever is available like before. i believe that was added after the 'first' scholar of the first sin update where they added aldia to a bunch of places.
when i was playing about ~sl130, half the time i was pretty sure the opponent was significantly higher level than i was. i don't think soul level meta will ever be a thing.
Again, Dual Caestus
Might also try to bring more variation with bonefist :v:

I'm never going to get over how perfect the mannikin mask is.
A quick survey guys, to decide which I'm getting.
I have both DS 1 and 2 on PS3, but none of the DLC's.
I want to get one for PC, but which is more worth it?
I love DS1 to death, but not so much of DS2 (the setting is meh).
But with the new additions/DLC's/remake and everything, I'm not sure which more worth it?
So, which should I get for PC?
Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition
or
Darks Souls 2: Scholar of the first sin?
DS1's dlc is arguably my favorite dlc of all time, but sotfs might last you longer
Wait for a sale to get ds1, get softs now since it'll be ages until it goes on sale most likely
Oh yeah, forgot about Steam sales. It's quite strange that DS1 PTD priced > DS2 SOFT

Does PC Dark Souls works with PS3 controller hooked up using DS3 MotioninJoy Gamepad tool?

Does PC Dark Souls works with PS3 controller hooked up using DS3 MotioninJoy Gamepad tool?
Yes, it does.
Edit: That said, ForNoReason kinda has the right idea. MotioninJoy is hella sketchy. I only used it for the first half of the game because I wasn't aware of any other options. I think xpadder is supposed to be a pretty good alternative, but I've never used it myself.
i swore off motoninjoy cause i found out it was causing my computer to crash
I had the funniest run in with a cheater today
I'm in the rat covenant, doors of pharros with a gimmick character, basically I just try to backstab everyone by using chameleon and standing in plain sight
So I get invaded by a gray spirit, after a few seconds I see the two Gyrms near me start turning around to face me. I'm confused, they usually just stand in place doing nothing unless they spot an enemy? So I just stay there for a good 10 seconds trying to make sense of what I'm seeing when I realize there's someone right above me, in one of the doorways carved in the walls (I imagine he tried to teleport behind me, but I had my back at the wall so I guess he got teleported there).
Evidently he couldn't figure out where I was because not a second after I saw him he jumped down and started attacking the gyrm right beside me. I backstabbed and 1hit killed him.
God I wish I recorded that, barely had time to figure out what was happening
Opposite of FNR, I swear to MotioninJoy. I download it, install the driver, then never touch it again and use Better DS3 instead.
I forget what it used to be called but I use input mapper and it seems pretty good.
You know, I really liked Yorgh's Spear cuz it hit like a truck and had some fine ass reach, but the defense debuff is bothering me. It may be only a hundred points, but I really don't want to waste a ring slot compensating for the lower defense.
[editline]24th April 2015[/editline]
Woops, rechecked my numbers. You lose 70 in terms of elemental defense, which can be easily shitted on with the Dispelling Ring +1 with like 50 extra defense. Never mind.
