Wait, some spells take up 2 slots? Shit, I need to level my attunement in the future. Also, do you mean people willingly stop leveling at 120 or the game locks you at 120?
I never knew that about the bonfire thing, that's actually pretty rad. Although I'm curious as to why fat rolling stops being funny later. Or is that simply "I've seen this enough times, its annoying now" kind of situation?
Level 120 is a general level that got agreed on in the dark and mysterious past after people migrated from DeS to DaS for people to cap levelling for PVP at, because it both allows people to have enough stats to max a build out, as well as giving people a general area to aim for if they want to do PVP.
You can go up all the way to Level 900 and something, but the amount of souls requried to do so is far more than you could get through legitimate means, unless you're some sort of sleep deprived caffine addict who does nothing but play 24/7.

Or cheat, that's something people do sometimes
Don't ask me how this happened

Haha fuck.
And I was using abyss greatsword, so you know EXACTLY what's in there.
how did it happen?
WHAT THE FUCK DID I JUST SAY, POPS?
WHAT THE EVER LOVING [sp]Giant did his rampage thing and knocked me onto that ledge and decided to take his after-rampage-nap right in front of it so i decided to kill him but unfortunately his death animation pushed me off the ledge[/sp] DID I JUST SAY POPS?

I've never seen Dark Souls look so poopy
Artorias is pretty hard to fight at SL1. :(
So i just DW katana'd my way through a ng cycle for the first time. I won against every invader. I feel like a scummy asshole now...
I'm normally a ultra great sword no shield kind of player.
After getting the Platinum for Bloodborne and DS2 recently, I'm trying to get it for Demon's Souls.
Oh god the grind is real. I've spent a lifetime looking for pure bladestone. I've forgotten what the sky looks like.
Was bored during an anatomy lecture, shat out this abomination using green day album art I had on my laptop

How active is DaSII right now compared to Scholar of the First Sin? I don't know if I want to upgrade, and I'm feeling that itch to play through and do some pvp again. Is the upgrade worth it or not?

Demons' Souls is my Achilles heel. I can rip asshole all day in Dark Souls 1 and 2, having beaten them both multiple times, but Demons' Souls just stops me cold. Fucking Valley of Defilement, I tell you what. Can't beat that shit for the life of me.

Funny enough, VoD is the first area I got to pure white tendancy.

It is good but whoever thought of the flying stingrays in the Shrine of Storms needs to get thrown down a well.

try dodge

I'm mainly talking about the cliff edge in the second part that has the skeletons on it.
Unless you had the Thief Ring, those Storm creatures would snipe you as soon as you walk out of the temple, the 2nd stone was just nightmares.

There are areas in souls games where you might end up pulling out an un-upgraded bow and sinking 10 minutes and 40 arrows into something purely because it's a pain in your ass.
This is one of those areas.

Only to run out afterwards and die because of a stupid mistake, making you have to do it all over again.

Why not maybe snipe them back? The level even gives you a bow.

Honestly the only real problem I had with Demon's was the Maneatersand the dark phantom mindflayer on that one staircase.

Except many of them snipe you from far far away.
And there are tons of them
And it's a goddamn waste of time considering that the skeleton path is not the only thing you had to worry.

Fortunately the rest of the area and the boss is pretty easy, otherwise it would be a complete nightmare

Use the Lava Bow! It killed the stingrays in one hit for me, and the ones I couldn't hit were out of range enough for the Thief's Ring to make them a non-issue.

Doing my first full playthrough of Dark Souls 1 right now and I'm legit right about to go do that due to my inability to beat certain things otherwise :v:
So I went back to the Undead Asylum because I could and learned I missed a thing and I figured I'd have a look-see around. Found the stupid rusted iron ring that would've made my first trip into the swamps a lot easier, only I already beat Queelag (:toot:), so whatever. I head a bonfire and make a beeline for the exit. Floor opens up and I'm greeted with a giant demon. Who thrashes me upon entry.
This goddamn game.
On a high note, I made him learn his lesson about being rude:

i have no idea how you managed to avoid the trap when you came into the asylum.

I actually almost did the first time around, just veered off to the left before the actual hole area.

Boy get that quitter talk out of here they all get close and die in like two hits
Boy get that quitter talk out of here they all get close and die in like two hits
1 hit is all it takes
I'm talking about them moving around like bunch of buttholes and being so far away.
You can easily beat the game with a goddamn bow
Today, years of playing dark souls later, I have discovered a shiny that I had never gotten before. The one on the side of the stairs that leads to all the capras in demon ruins. I had never know that existed until I looked over there from the chest with the ember in it.
Also, last week I managed to get a pickaxe drop for the first time ever.
amazing.
I saw that same shiny. I also saw a giant bug thingy clinging to a wall. Immediately knew what was up and decided against it. Can't fool me again, game.

Speaking of which, holy shit I made a huge mistake heading for those two items you see in the distance from the bonfire in demon ruins. Guarded by those minotaurs. I didn't see them until it was too late.
This game, I swear.
