You don't have to kill the bomb-lobbing giant. If you don't, however... You're gonna have a bad time. Just hide in the doorway of the tower until he tuckers himself out with a tantrum then beat him up. Also yes upgrade everything to +3 at least, since shards are cheap.
+3?? you should have your favourite weapon above +5 at least by the time you get to anal rodeo, there's definitely enough large titanite around to do that and definitely at +10 when you get to the boss
Do I have to beat him first or something like Maneater Mildred? Also I haven't done a lot of upgrading but I'm in a good spot to do so because the AI is dumb and fall off cliffs.
Tarkus isn't like Mildred, you don't have to kill him to gain him as a summon. Most summons don't work like Mildred. It's worth noting that with the materials you've acquired up to this point, you should be able to get your weapon up to at least +8 or +9. Sen's is full of large titanite shards placed right in your path, so it's worth going and paying Andre a visit.
+3?? you should have your favourite weapon above +5 at least by the time you get to anal rodeo, there's definitely enough large titanite around to do that and definitely at +10 when you get to the boss
Unless the Black Knights drop their weapons. Then it's game over anyway.
+3?? you should have your favourite weapon above +5 at least by the time you get to anal rodeo, there's definitely enough large titanite around to do that and definitely at +10 when you get to the boss
Yeah, this is true. I was mostly referring to armor, though. But yes, upgrade the shit out of your weapon of choice, it is a wise decision.
Unless the Black Knights drop their weapons. Then it's game over anyway.
I actually picked up a Black Knight Claymore recently and put in points for dexterity to use it. It makes me happy. Especially the super poke strong attack :v: [editline]4th May 2015[/editline] Also I've sorta been all over the board with my upgrades simply because I'm never too sure when one will do better than another. My club destroys undead super quick but does diddly against living creatures, my Warhammer tears up armored dudes. My axe (which is my strongest so far, +4 magic axe I think) does a fair amount of regular and magic damage and is my mainstay weapon when I can't figure out a weakness, such as the snake dudes. I wanna say its slash but I don't have any good slashing weapons.
Friend got the scholar of the first sin edition so I bought the upgrade to help him out and see how things have changed Get to heide's tower of flame, some douche invader with gear he could not possibly have obtained legitimately is lag-switching with a really long weapon then gesturing rudely when he kills you. So, not much, really
So I got summoned to the Bone Lords fight and we got invaded by Roenna or whatever her name is. Drop kicked her right off the cliff.
+3?? you should have your favourite weapon above +5 at least by the time you get to anal rodeo, there's definitely enough large titanite around to do that and definitely at +10 when you get to the boss
I can guarantee you there is EXACTLY enough large shards to upgrade a weapon to +10 by anor londo
I can guarantee you there is EXACTLY enough large shards to upgrade a weapon to +10 by anor londo
Or you can be neurotic like me and farm them in Blighttown, and go through sens with a +10 weapon.
Woop, beat Kellogs on my first try on my first ever playthrough of the game! I summoned Mildred, who did fucking nothing and just stood next to me staring, so I whipped out my +5 Black Bow of Pharis and shot Quelaag in the face as fast and as much as I could. Apparently that stunlocks her :v:
What is the first sin exactly?
fucking with the witch of izalith's lord soul seems like the most likely candidate since chaos continues to be relevant in dark souls 2 and aldia looks like he's been chaos'd up which would make sense if he was studying it I suppose starting the first age of fire could be another contender since it's the source of all this shit in the first place
With everything that these fine fellows did, Nito almost looks like a saint now
Nito did nothing wrong.
The witch of izalith indirectly created the Capra Demon Boss fight. She is the greatest sinner in the Dark Souls universe.
[vid] http://a.pomf.se/ivwjjw.webm [/vid] it's a bit on the longer side
The witch of izalith indirectly created the Capra Demon Boss fight. She is the greatest sinner in the Dark Souls universe.
If you can roll past the initial start of the fight to the stairs it gets pretty easy tho
Killed someone on the bridge with the hadouken from the bone fists and they said I was a pay to win despite the fact they can be dropped without having the dlc. Why are people such sore losers?
Killed someone on the bridge with the hadouken from the bone fists and they said I was a pay to win despite the fact they can be dropped without having the dlc. Why are people such sore losers?
Someone calling Dark Souls pay-to-win? That's a new one.
Killed someone on the bridge with the hadouken from the bone fists and they said I was a pay to win despite the fact they can be dropped without having the dlc. Why are people such sore losers?
It's super loser since it's bonefist. I mean, it's not like there's a certain Rapier or Retained sword that can only be obtained only through DLC.
How do I dump the textures of Dark Souls 1 using DSFix? Nvm, the textures are dumped automatically if I enable it to 1 My precioussssssssss Wait, why isn't there much environment textures? Almost all of them are sprites and bump maps. Anybody saw any building textures (bricks, grounds, ect)?
Today marks the first time I've done the NG+ variant of the Four Kings fight. Jiminy Christmas. [editline]6th May 2015[/editline] Man who thought it was a good idea to make the transient curses render Great Magic Barrier un-castable? Really got my shirt ironed, thanks to that nonsense.
It's super loser since it's bonefist. I mean, it's not like there's a certain Rapier or Retained sword that can only be obtained only through DLC.
She/he was dressed as the pursuer and someone gave me way too many openings when I had no poise. Also, is retainer sword even good? It seems like it has shitty scaling.
Killed someone on the bridge with the hadouken from the bone fists and they said I was a pay to win despite the fact they can be dropped without having the dlc. Thw amount of people who can't dodge the hadoken still baffles me.
Thw amount of people who can't dodge the hadoken still baffles me.
i got killed in belfy by some dragonbro named 999 with the hadouken when I had never seen the bonefist before; (didn't get it in my dk2 vanilla playthrough or finish the dlcs) that bastard invaded me 5 times in belfry
She/he was dressed as the pursuer and someone gave me way too many openings when I had no poise. Also, is retainer sword even good? It seems like it has shitty scaling.
It's quite an INT + ROB Flynn based weapon. Infuse with Magic, put crystal on it, get high INT and low VIT, also get the magic clutch ring + rob
If you can roll past the initial start of the fight to the stairs it gets pretty easy tho
Oh yeah but if you fuck the roll the boss fights basically over and you get another exciting run from firelink.
Oh yeah but if you fuck the roll the boss fights basically over and you get another exciting run from firelink.
From Firelink???? Boy why ain'tchu using the Undead Burg fire?
From Firelink???? Boy why ain'tchu using the Undead Burg fire?
It's barely shorter if you have the aqueduct shortcut and has way more and higher level enemies.
