i fucking hate invaders in 2 so much, my friend only had 1 invader in his entire playthrough yet the instant i go human im basically invaded straight away. i do wanna fight but how the fuck can i get good when every invader is a guy who has ~500 hours and tons more pvp experience than i have, compared to my 40 hours and having yet to win a single fight? ive been just alt+f4ing for a while now because ive been sick of just getting shit on constantly but i got banned or whatever for doing that, and had to use a bone of order. i really dont know what to do anymore, i know people probably think im a pussy for alt+f4ing but its like hitting my head against a brick wall if i dont.

You're probably better off just burning effigies and not dealing with them at all. But if you really want to get good at PvP then the only way to get better is to deal with them and learn from what they do.

I've never used it, so I don't know how quick someone jumps in to help, but if the invader is really overpowered, might as well let the cops handle it while you hide or run away. Could always try beelining for the bosses and homewarding out until you get the right stuff for PVP.

Anyone in Demon's Souls got a character at NG, SL 45-87 with a boss still alive in the Valley of Defilement? I need to get white world tendency back, since killed Astrea then got eaten by aborted jelly bean infants.

Or try to get into Dragon covenant to fight fair 1 on 1. Also try to match your stats to your playstyle/weapons. For example if you want to Cestus people around, then get enough endurance and armor so they didnt faze you in close range, ect. Or you can just get gud instead

BTW. Out of fear of getting put in the pool of people who disconnect, I've never even used the black soapstone. Will doing that count towards your ban number?

Tower of Flame is a lot harder in Scholar when everything is agro'ed at once. And i really don't like how the sword wielding Heide's have that one quick swipe that has no wind up at all. Also, fuck that Spear user next to the dragon.

Will doing that count towards your ban number?[/QUOTE] Dropping connection when being invaded or while invading are the only things that affects your counter towards having to use a Bone of Order to reconnect to the rest of the community, iirc Even if you are penalized for ditching games, the only thing that will affect you is summoning/being summoned, neither of which you're able to do. You can still be invaded. The Black Soapstone is perfectly safe to use. Why would they give you an item that penalizes you in a meta-game way for using it?

Well, almost beat Oreo and Smore on my Pyromancer build, aptly named Pyrogoy, but Double Stuff Oreo didn't really understand how physics work.

It happened. After more than a hundred hours of playtime across both versions of Dark Souls 2, it finally happened. I actually saw a Blue Sentinel.

I had a decent night of being summoned once. A whole 3 invasions. One guy stunlocked me with dual broken swords, another guy backstabbed the shit out of the host, the third one hopped off a cliff.

I was summoning with my friend and we'd gotten invaded on our way up to the Cathedral, all the knights were aggro'd and the invader just camped in the big room with three Old Knights and a couple of Heide mooks. The Sentinel walked up to us and dropped a Giant Tree Seed. It was beautiful. Definitely one of my favorite multiplayer experiences with this game so far.

Dark Souls 3 is going to happen, chances are. Hopefully there won't be soul memory so we can see more Blue's counter invading. Still not too fond of the Greatsword Movesets in DkS2. Wish they kept the DkS1 movesets, i just dont like them swinging side to side and i'm really not a fan of the downward/upward slashes.

I also encountered a Blue Sentinal today when I was invading, Spammed the force spell to throw him off the ledge. such a rare sight.
