gotten the white hollow mage robe, also did Dear Dukes Freja on NG+
The MLGS is hard to use, its slow but I think I'll get a longsword infused with magic for fast stabs, only a shame I dont have the Moon light alt longsword in SotFS
I personally like the gameplay of Dark Souls 2 better than 1. I almost wish they'd remastered 1 on 2's engine rather than re-doing 2, that would've been amazing but then again it would've been basically making the game from scratch so I understand why they didn't.
The controls and overall feel of 2 just strike me as way more refined. Don't get me wrong, Dark Souls is an amazing game, but it feels really unpolished to me. Maybe it's the port.
I still don't understand how people think DS2 feels better? Compared to Dark Souls or Bloodborne DS2 controls like hot garbage. Characters move like they're pushing a shopping trolley, the weapons are all so fucking slow, and the rolling just feels awful. More like they're trying to bodyslam the earth than get out of the way of an attack.

You sure you're not fatrolling there? :v:

Make sure you're under 70% equipment load.
the omnidirectional roll in ds2 just feels so much better in terms of freedom tbh

I'm not new to the fucking game. I've got over 1,000 hours in Dark Souls 2. Don't assume that just because someone doesn't like some thing that they're fucking retarded.
Demon souls' hyper gameplay still beats Dks1 and 2 for the fluid of the gameplay.
Then i pick Dks2 because it feels much improved on its movement, despite feeling the slowest.
Dks1 is a mixed feeling for both sides, it's the one that i mostly appreciate on their animation but the least for gameplay. I still feel like a bag of potatoes while i roll in that game until you get the silliest ring.
But aside from the different movement systems in either game, I feel that I can move equally as efficient in both if I'm given time to get readjusted.

DS2 feels like it has more weight, the movement also feels much more fluid because the animations are much nicer. Going back to DS1 after playing a lot of DS2 and Bloodborne had me fucking up because I was so used to being able to roll or dash in any direction I wanted that I had to get used to the forward/backward/left/right rolling again. DS2 made some bad moves, but it refined the movement quite well in my opinion. DaS still feels very snappy compared to 2, but I like both in the end.
Something amazing got delivered today. My Ornstein armour is complete. All I need now is the spear and I have a fully functional set of Ornstein. It's slightly different from Ornstein's, but I like it this way.
I already had the helmet and gauntlets, but now it's complete.

I hope you guys like Dark Souls cosplay. I know I do.
There was a convention last weekend. Nito, Solaire, and Lautrec attended.

Pretty badass Nito and Lautrec.
I also like the Sunny D containers (?) in Solaire's pouch, though.
Yeah, he would occasionally chug a bottle of Sunny D.

Definite bonus cosplay points for the bottles of Sunny D in his satchel.
Kalameet sure was a toughy on NG+++. Forgot most of his moves at first, but it all came back to me and I got em in the end.
I need to see some Smough's cosplay though.

I bet you anyone who tried to properly cosplay smough would die from heat exhaustion.

Or at least pass out.
Fuck Mimics and their hitboxes. Could be standing a mile away behind them and still get eaten.
Now the fucker died from poison before the fadeout finished and the item isn't there. Am I fucked?
can anyone help me at fridig outskirt? i don't want to deal with that shit again :(
soul memory is 7178283
Welp, there goes whatever was in the Earthen Peak Mimic.

I probably don't need them, but it's nice having things.

My favorites the mimic in the gutter, everytime I've killed it, the item fell through the cracks onto a platform you can't possibly get to.

Oh no, trust me, you can get there. It took me long enough for an invader to appear and fall off of an edge looking for me, but I got that fucking loot.
No matter how many times I've played the game I always die to O&S. It's a given.

If it isn't Smough's plow attack it's his jump slam. I never have any trouble with Ornstein.
I wish there were more people to co op with in Dark Souls 1. I find it exhilarating to be able to hop into someone else's world and help them tackle the level and its boss. I was lucky enough to catch a glimpse of someone's shade sitting at the bonfire in the Painted World, where I was farming souls. I quickly threw down my summon sign in hopes that they'd see it, and fortunately they did. I torched the shit out of Priscilla for them and it was fun. Want to help people more.
Naturally I'm a Sunbro already, but are there any other ways to make it easier for people to spot my summon sign? My character level is somewhere in the 70's right now, so are there any good spots I could go to where traffic might be high and fit my level range? Or does DS1 just have a lot less players than it used to, meaning co op is nearly nigh impossible?
