Oh right, Papyrus was done, forgot to show you.

Toriel is next.
Goddamn [sp]Gaster[/sp] and their whole 'plot line' if you can even remotely call it that is spooky.
[sp]One of those times where 'nothing is scarier' works to its benefit since there's details but they're sparse enough that it's truly immeasurable.[/sp]
Man I just realized how happy I am that I went into this game without knowing the hype surrounding it.
I'm one of those people that can get turned off by people hyping something up, so I'm lucky to have avoided it. Missing out on this game would have been tragic.
Its rather difficult as it can seem very dichotomous. Its the emotional factor that really make the choices have impact. Unless you have that in place, the choice between moral/immoral seems more like "do i want spaghetti or pizza?"
Indeed, when making these kinds of choices it helps to have real emotional agency, and having relatable and endearing characters that you actually get time to know does certainly help.
For instance you don't really know the Little Sisters in BioShock, they aren't easy to relate to, and you don't have any time for them to truly endear themselves to you before you're forced to make that arbitrary choice of "harvest for EXP now or save for less initial EXP and additional gifts later on down the line if you save more".
Whereas with Undertale, you're dealing with Papyrus and his shenanigans throughout Snowdin, you hear all about how everyone reveres [sp]Undyne[/sp] in Snowdin and throughout Waterfall, and as you travel through [sp]Hotland[/sp] you have [sp]Alphys[/sp] helping you out nearly every step of the way and being a charming goof over the phone.
Also, despite [sp]Mettaton falling to pieces even when you don't truly FIGHT him, it makes me wonder... What would a date with Mettaton involve? How crazy could it possibly get?[/sp]
Man I just realized how happy I am that I went into this game without knowing the hype surrounding it.
No kidding. My friend kept talking about the game and telling me to get it. I told him I couldn't afford it so he tells me if I like the demo he'll buy the game for me. All I knew going into it was that it was indie. I also didn't expect the game to be as great as it was based off the demo. Not to say it was bad, but the game shattered my expectations.
Does anyone know what the music [sp]snored when you sleep[/sp] at Snowed Inn is? I really like the sound of it.
When I release this you'll be able to groove to the beat with your bro!

I'll probably release it in packs, characters in one, shopkeepers in another, enemies in another, and anything else I may have missed.
Sound good?
Oh speaking of sounds, there might be a mod somewhere on the steam workshop, or an option ingame to turn voices off.

That's one of those optional things to a game: charm. Its not required, but can certain set it apart from the rest.

[sp]Probably trying out poses and looking for outfits to smooch that ghost. [/sp]
Yeah, charm is one of those things that can really help sell a story. You'll feel more for a character the more you interact with them, whether it be a party member, a villain who has your phone number, or even the potion seller down the road who is reluctant to sell you his strongest concoctions because you wouldn't be able to handle them.
Write them right, and even Innkeep could endear themselves to you. It's a lesson to learn when writing characters, make the audience care about them and what happens to them.

I can't wait for the inevitable Hardmode Neutral Ending.
[sp]You finally defeat Asgore, watch him ask for your forgiveness, get cut down by Flowey, who then assumes his ultimate form. But then, even Omega Flowey is killed in a single blow by an unseen entity. His body collapses and the six SOULS are transferred to a darkened figure who laughs menacingly and shuffles into another room. You follow, trembling at every step you take, fearing the being powerful enough to kill something more dangerous than a god. All of a sudden, you realize that who stands before you was there the whole time. He watched and followed Frisk through the entire game, through trials and tribulations, neglected and ignored like a bastard child. He motions you to step forward, and you see what horror lies in wait, thirsty for revenge, waiting to tear you into bloody ribbons: OMEGA JERRY.[/sp]

Is it bad that I actually kinda want this?
Ya'll laugh now, but you won't be laughing if it'd become a real thing. He was a pain in the ass in regular battle because you can't actually spare him >:c

*You tried to ditch Jerry-
*But nothing happened.
Jerry doesn't fuck around.
Jerry's back and this time you're the one going to need a ride home.
It's been bugging me for a while now, but what the hell is that line between Napstablook's eyes?

Remember how monster's souls are upside down?
[sp]We've been looking at their butt this whole time. Which, honestly, explains Mettaton a little.[/sp]

need qr codes for these miis please
Just got the pacifist ending, I can say that this is a game that leaves a lasting impression on a person. I haven't been this emotionally toyed with since I was a little kid.
I originally bought this game after watching Joel play it for a while and it looked fun, plus internet references. I had no idea what I was getting myself into.
This is the best game I've played in my entire life. I'm not even going to try for a genocide run, I can't bring myself to even boot up the game again just to undo everything.
This is an absolute masterpiece, I'd erase my own memories if I could, just so that I could experience that anew.
[sp]Fuck Flowey, he's a megadick even though he's the soulless reincarnation of Asriel. Also I realized that Asriel is Azrael, the Archangel of Death, although I'm not the first I'm sure.[/sp]
