If this was an official Mother spinoff or something, besides the whole [sp]murder everyone plotline[/sp], i'd seriously believe it. It's not the weird sort of Earthbound insanity but the small world has a very similar charm and music style at times (which shouldn't be surprising since Toby worked with EB hacks before and those original arrangements he'd made before). And that was probably deliberate, especially with all the Earthbound, Cave Story, Touhou and other numerous references.
Hell, sometimes the art style of areas even reminds me of Mother 3.
I really want Toby to finish hard mode.. While I didn't enjoy doing the genocide run I found the hard fights really fun and now I just want an option to have a brutally difficult mode that doesn't involve you doing horrible things

Add more options?[/QUOTE]Most of the time calming enemies down involves repeating one option until they're cool with you. I'm thinking something like having a bit more options and checking in between about how the enemy is feeling, then deciding what to do. Just a bit more variety.
Also more bullets.. a lot of bullets

So I just started on my Genocide run (needed a while to disconnect so I can feel slightly less bad about killing my friends) and I just realized something. If you attack a Froggit and it doesn't die, it will let you Spare it. So really I think it's no wonder so many people kill [sp] Toriel. [/sp]
If you didn't take the tutorial-Froggits advise literally, [sp]you'd feel as though you exhausted all your options and go "well, I'll just weaken her an-" and suddenly you crit her and she's dead.[/sp]
But I think the intended reaction after that is to reload, not continue and go "did I ruin my pacifist run guys?"

Friend of mine was real nervous about getting the game due to the uncomfortable paranoia bits, but after learning about Undyne she really wants to play it. [sp]she found out that she's a cute fish girl with a cute dino girlfriend and got real interested. Kinda sad she never discovered it on her own but it's not that big of a spoiler.[/sp]

Spoiler Free will be as follows
Cadence/Choral - Will not be replaced in the base pack
Bard - Sans
Monk - Muffet
Dove - Protag - Clone will have a spoilerless version of Protag
Eli - Mettaton
Bolt - Undyne
Dorian - Papyrus
Melody - Toriel
Aria - Asriel
Coda - Will not be replaced
And the spoiler-addon will have
Cadence/Choral - Protag/[sp]Chara (Protag will have Chara as it's clone, and Chara will have Protag as it's clone) Doves Clone will also be replaced with Chara[/sp]
And will require you to manually override the mod, I'll give instructions on how to do this when I release, I'll also put it in a readme too. Next post I do I should have some Toriel progress
