Wouldn't bode well for the likes of Flowey and Undyne. I don't have Undertale myself yet, but I'm planning to get it eventually even despite being plenty spoiled. This game LOOKS LIKE it takes some inspiration from Mother series by Nintendo, but I am not sure. A kid protagonist, unusual combat system, QUIRKY characters, to name three correlations off the top of my head.

I haven't played earthbound myself but I'm sure there's a lot of ideas/concepts the two share.

You had a lot of fun with the characters in the game and you'll take away their happiness just so you can entertain yourself for a while longer.[/sp] I'd like to point out that I'm guilty of this, I've just made peace with it by now.

So once I beat the true pacifist, I was done, I'm never going to do a Genocide play through ever, it's not worth it for me.[/sp]

After making friends with Papyrus, he will help you make friend with Undyne, who will then trigger the Alphys thing. Alphys' only triggers if you have beaten flowey at least once[/sp]
