Apparently someone made a model of papyrus for tf2s vs. saxton hale mod.

Never seen the character on top right, oh man.

If you mean the thing with a clam for a head, it's where the water cooler is in Hotlands.
Never seen the character on top right, oh man.
[sp]I think its that clam guy you see right after you save Undyne from dehydration. The colors are weird though[/sp]
[editline]22nd October 2015[/editline]
looks like a few have had their color palette re-designed by the artists. that might explain why
people are so afraid of spoilers that they'll label everything that doesn't happen in the first 5 minutes of the game a spoiler
just don't go to major plot details about anything and it's all good
i mean, i said what happens in the first segment of the game, but was very ambiguous about it
people who haven't played the game don't know what i was talking about, and people who have, do know
[editline]asd[/editline]
oh shit pageking
Yeah, but [sp]Asriel[/sp] is literally the very last thing you see encounter wise on what's considered the best path.
Unless you're talking about something else it actually is a spoiler.

Gotta understand that some people just want to go in blind and would rather not know anything at all. Gotta respect em'.

1. That's a very shitty model
2. Why Papyrus? the only boss monster in Undertale that won't kill you? (Other than Toriel, unless you're in hard mode)
If you mean the thing with a clam for a head, it's where the water cooler is in Hotlands.
That's the one above the endogeny (dog amalgamate)
dude i AM the cat burger flipper
there's one thing that i think about a lot which is how much of a badass frisk is, or inversely how pathetic are all of the monsters? this is even true in the pacifist run; because in the genocide run [sp]frisk is possessed by the fallen human and becomes this unfeeling powerful psychopath..which makes sense.[/sp]but in the pacifist run frisk just stands there and takes beating after beating, only to eat a popsicle or a muffin and continue to take beatings - and not light ones, like undyne hurling spears INTO A CHILD. i'd be terrified of even pacifist frisk.

oh
iunno what that is then

I agree with you 100%, but shouldn't those people be avoiding threads like these? I actually wondered at one point if it would be possible to talk about anything undertale related without spoiler tags, but when the game [sp]messes with your expectations so hard within the first 5 minutes of the game, you can't even talk about the very first thing you do- the encounter with Flowey- without tagging it.[/sp]
We've had entire thread pages with more black bars than a FBI document during the 1960's. Aside from the OP, I think almost everything that's been discussed in these threads requires some basic knowledge of the game before reading it in order to avoid spoilers. Even some of the fanart posted here spoils some of the later bosses like [sp]Muffet and Asgore.[/sp] I'm not advocating that we all start talking about endgame bosses without spoiler tags or anything; I learned my lesson last time. I just think given the sheer amount of spoilers that come from even knowing the true premise of the game, there isn't much spoiler-free commentary to be had here.

A lot of people say that the monsters are pushovers, but considering they already [sp]got six human souls its much more likely that frisk[/sp] is extremely special even by human standards, his/her determination was so strong [sp]it overrode everyone else's and he/she was essentially immortal.[/sp]
I think its because [sp]frisk had you, the player,[/sp] as that driving force for determination, [sp]flowey was usurped as the game master[/sp] when you entered the stage, as [sp]the game master ultimately has only as much power as the players[/sp] allow him to have.

Honestly the shittiness of that model makes me want to learn modeling just so I can prove that even a complete beginner can make a less shitty model
I think it's kind of the point of that model to be all blocky and simple, it looks inspired by stuff like the very first Alone in the Dark.
What server is that OriginalSpace?
I'd like to inspect it and see how far gone it is

Nope.
[sp]There's a 2nd clam person (clamgirl) in the intersection room between Undyne's house, Napster's house, etc.[/sp]
[sp]Triggered by fun.[/sp]
[sp]Triggered by fun.[/sp]
fucking [sp]fun[/sp] values
how do they work
I made a mashup and realized it actually seemed really fitting.

Armour begin! I saw a few of you wanted the battle pose, so I put it in the armours.

I would use custom armors, like an apron or something but there's too many armours to do that.

Please change your avatar dude. For the sake of the new players.

But then what's the punishment?
[sp]It's weird how you can literally never get a true pacifist run on the first try, but I suppose you need the context of the New Home and the final battle(s) after it to understand the history.[/sp]
[sp] it's also because Flowey gave up on the "just take the human souls" plan (he never fights you again after resetting from a Neutral run, because he knows he's gonna lose), and tries to lure you into giving him all the monster souls as well. Papyrus only calls you thanks to Flowey's expert schmoozing. [/sp]

Oh I agree on early stuff, but it kinda sucks for people who did something they really like in the game to open it up and see ASGORE and everything completely without context. "You can't talk about the game unless you beat it first" is a pretty miserable rule.
Kinda hard to remember but the game did get it's official release a little over a month ago- it's still really really young and still attracting a lot of newcomers, it's frankly just not fair to be told "Uh go beat the game first THEN you can talk about it."
I've given up on asking people to tag Mettaton or ASGORE or even Sans [sp]Genocide[/sp] stuff because it just won't happen- but I think it's more important to spoiler [sp]Asriel[/sp] and not doing so is insanely heartless and rude.

I think I came on a little too strong in my post because you just posted my exact feelings on the matter. I was just saying in refrence to "people who want to go in blind not knowing anything," wouldn't it be better for them to avoid a discussion thread?
I'm all for people posting about stuff while they're working through the game, and it's so short it can be beaten within a few sittings and then suddenly a lot more discussion topics become available. I know not everyone has the time to get through the game quick, but a lot of the meat of the story comes at the end of the game and repeat playthroughs.
Please change your avatar dude. For the sake of the new players.
your avatar is the very same case
"there is a character that looks like this in the game"
there is no indication of the importance of the character for new players
if you saw it before playing the game, you would think nothing of it
and this post is getting really counterproductive to my point, so just check the top of the page
i like how they included the talking rock
Here's an upscaled version of that image of every character in the game, for peeps like me who felt it was too small. (Open it in a new tab.)
I just noticed there's a hot cat in that picture. Heh.
Also did they not draw [sp]Undyne without her armor?[/sp] That makes me sad
