Like damaging enemies and then sparing them doesn't get you exp, pretty sure. And EXP stands for EXecution Points after all[/sp]

[sp]I just went and checked, you get exp between undyne and undyne the undying. So I guess it's possible that a similar thing happened[/sp]

you don't get EXP from beating up a vegetoid and eating it, though.
