I generally don't directly post [sp]final bosses, unexpected stuff like asgore destroying the mercy button or true lab, and things related to either the genocide or pacifist ending[/sp]

I think it's left up to interpretation. Slippers certainly suits him better.

His battle and overworld sprites definitely look more like slippers to me, and I like the idea of them better, personally. His Steam artwork shows him in sneakers, but it's the only official piece I know of that does?
So I may have realized something about (genospoils) [sp]Chara- ingame it looks like they're depicted as having pale skin, but what if it's dead monster ashes? While your sprite doesn't show it, papyrus mentions your hands being covered in "weird dust," so it's possible you accumulate so much ash that your skin whitens. By the time you get to Asgore, he doesn't recognize you despite being Chara's adopted father, so it's possible that Frisk is the true look of Chara (without his eyes opened). The "true" look of Chara could easily be a reflection of what you actually look like, a monster covered in dust.[/sp]

I'm ngl she's like, the most boring character in the game for me. Her theme is ok, I mean as ok as one of tobys songs can be (see: impossibly catchy and great) but not much of her character appealed to me at all. Especially because she was on screen for all of 5 minutes.

True, there wasn't really any long-term build-up to her. First you see or hear of her is in the lair where she's selling those overpriced pastries. She just shows up and in the next room, since unless you've been grinding like crazy you'll never buy anything from her, she traps you and sics her brethren on your arse.
You don't really get a chance to hear about her reputation or learn about her backstory, you don't get the time for her to endear herself to you like Papyrus or Undyne, so she's pretty much a toll gate that lets you through if you kept a Spider Doughnut from the Ruins, or a long-ish bossfight that pops up like a Big Lipped Alligator Moment.
If Toby's still working on the game, I imagine fleshing out Muffet and her "story arc" would help make her section a bit less sudden and less dull.

Eh, doubt it. Last I heard she was a backer-inducted character, along with So Sorry, that really have no impact on the game other than to make an appearance. Hell, she even comes with her own [sp]soul-color change[/sp] ability that you never see again.

Everyone keeps calling muffet a backer character despite the face it straight up says she's a GUEST designed character in the credits lol. As were several other monsters. Muffet was designed by the creator of Ava's Demon which is a popular web comic, so I guess Toby wanted to get her involved. Glyde and So Sorry are the only backer fights fyi.
But regardless he really should've given muffet more build up.

Oh. I missed that part what with the credits going Rambo on me. Point still stands, and to be honest, the extras feel rushed or a last minute thing (with their placement). Which makes sense, since you finish the main thing first and then figure out what to do with the extra parts, sorta like an ikea piece.

lol that section was just for backers and AFAIK she wasn't a backer. This was shown before that part where the credits attack you. She was listed under guest artists. There was at least one other guest artist too actually but I can't remember what they designed.

I just realized because it's Halloween season you could probably trim a hedge in the shape of Papyrus' face and no one would be the wiser. Most people would think you're just being festive and then just think you're too lazy to get rid of it once Halloween is over.
