Suddenly, someone's wheels and bumper get extra dusty as they unintentionally ram into something they didn't see.
Hard to find good ytpmv's these days

this game reminded me of another great game, Iji: http://gmc.yoyogames.com/index.php?showtopic=395662
it was a metroidvania game made by one person in game maker with a decent soundtrack and one of the coolest final bosses ever, it also had the same mechanics as undertale, Killing everyone gave you a bad ending but ultimately gave you much better stats.

Wrong. Tem would just do this if a car was about to hit her

Iji is also pretty good, I played it a while ago and something about it stuck with me
The difference for me between Iji and Undertale though is that in Iji, I could bring myself to play it through with both moralities :v:

Poacher by Yahtzee Croshaw is also a good game with a roughly similar premise. It's a bit more of a Metroidvania than Iji is, and it generally focuses on platforming over combat.
Plus, you play as a Northern Englishman with a shotgun and a magic ghost buddy.
It's also got a fantastic soundtrack.

but seriously if i ever need to do any other runs i'll just gun for pacifist again
i really don't want to tear my hair out at the genocide run or [sp]get the permanent possession of my save unless i literally delete all the files[/sp]

So don't do Genocide. All there is to it.
Yep, that's definitely an image to have.
Okay, who are your favourite shop keepers? I just realised I can edit the shopkeeper in Necrodancer too, do you want Temmie? or someone else?

hOIVS
EDIT: Oh, I thought I put this in the post as well

All of Iji's endings are pretty dark, [sp]hell, the final boss implies that the world outright isn't salvageable and that all your actions have accomplished nothing,[/sp] but I still love it because it has the best morality system I've seen in a game, possibly excepting Undertale.
I wish more games were able to handle the spectrum of violence this well, rather than the Bioshock way we usually see.

Temmie or bust
Temmie or bust
Should point out there's an evil shopkeeper and ghost shopkeeper, should I just make an evil and ghost version of Temmie, or should I use someone else?
Okay, who are your favourite shop keepers? I just realised I can edit the shopkeeper in Necrodancer too, do you want Temmie? or someone else?

The only answers are Temmie or Burgerpants.

It's always fun to see games that deconstruct the idea of being "good", while still using massive amounts of brutal violence against the enemies you fight. it's great to see games like Iji and Undertale that make the enemies not faceless nothing existing to get slaughtered, and push them as actual thinking beings.
Not to say games like Bioshock are BAD for having violence be the option, it's just the standard to kill enemies in games and it's fun to see games that break that mold.

IIRC, there are hidden runes in the zones that allow access to different shopkeeps, so you should be able to edit all of them with different Undertale peeps.

You can probably get away with changing the ghost but the evil shopkeeper is designed to trick you into thinking they're the real one, so it would need to be the same shopkeeper with minor differences
If you go with temmie shopkeep the evil shopkeeper should have HOIVS

Here are all the shopkeepers, suggestions on who should be who? should point out that this guy is the one you'll be seeing most of the time
Just finished the game for the first time - pacifist.
Brilliant. Been a long time since I've played a game that oozes with fun like this does. Love and care definitely went into this game.

game still feels meh compared to the rest of yahtzee's games, plus the completely unnecessary kick in the balls moments and extremely awkward combat feels blegh.

Its rather difficult as it can seem very dichotomous. Its the emotional factor that really make the choices have impact. Unless you have that in place, the choice between moral/immoral seems more like "do i want spaghetti or pizza?"
