Big MT props are supposed to be remains of the BOMB 07 space station

The L.A. mod author seems a little full of himself but if you read the comments hes just really tired and sad that he spent years making this and pretty much no one will play it since Fallout 4 is out. And those screenshots aren't flattering at all, don't judge too harshly. He also happens to be named JCDenton but I promise it's not me secretly shilling my own mod :v:
phew, this guy is pretty full of himself, let's see what we got in stor- this is pretty much a clusterfuck of fo3's dc props and assets combined with some generic square buildings props with only one texture, palm trees that look weirdly out of place, and it looks just like a general mess. i can admire the ammount of time that was put into this, but time =/= quality. i might be nitpicky, but apart from the fact it's probably empty too aka there's nothing to do other than look at the place, it just look not good. also, how make big mountain dlc props even sense to be here?? :nope:
Considering it's a mod made by one dude it doesn't look that bad. You're giving the guy way too much flak.
I feel a lot of people will still try it out, a lot of people seem to still be playing NV. It has a hell of a lot of effort and time and love put into it, all oddities aside. For one guy it's an incredible feat.
Considering it's a mod made by one dude it doesn't look that bad. You're giving the guy way too much flak.
Yeah and if Rudy made it you would shitting on it. [editline]26th February 2016[/editline] It really doesn't look that great.
Yeah and if Rudy made it you would shitting on it.
So let me get this straight I make one comment about Rudy's broken record posts, everyone starts talking about how I bring personal shit up in the thread (despite Rudy being the one who harassed me over several outlets, mind you). It devolves into petty name calling for two pages. And now, with literally nothing to back you up, you bring the same shit up, reinvigorating the same drama, for absolutely no reason. What ?
The Fallout thread... The Fallout thread never changes.
Can you guys please just stop and keep the drama to yourselves? All three of you are being a toxic influence on this thread. You're decent people but no one really cares to see the childish bickering. We're not your buddies, we're not your housemate, we're people on a game forum discussing vidya. You have PMs and outside forum communication for a reason. As for that mod, I think it looks acceptable for what it is. Its very assumptious to judge a man by two words read over text without voice inflection and not look deeper into the commentary he has given elsewhere to gain a better context. It really doesn't look like a "clusterfuck of F3 DC assets" which is unfair anyway because do I really expect someone to make tons and tons of new assets like that? No I don't. The mod looks pretty cool and worth a shot. Maybe I'll do a little mod review of it, people need to hear my Barry White voice in action.
it looks passable as a NV thing- Since FO3 engine is so dated it's hard to make anything look good- but it completely fails in the "looking like LA" sense.
you know bullets are made of lead too, right? why wouldn't you get lead poisoning normally in that case?
Now that would just be unfair :v:
did fallout 4 just update for anyone else? 48.8 MB? I'm not seeing any patch notes so maybe it's a beta update thing
Yeah I got that update too and I'm not sure what it is.
I guess they updated the beta today, the posted the patch notes on the Bethesda forums
1.4.131 Update General performance improvements
Not a whole lot to get excited about.
General performance improvements? I seem to be CTD with no error more often now. Might just be the area I'm in but still I don't think this started happening until after this update...

Someone also said it included some new "physics" because getting punched by a super mutant gave screen shake and his torso(?) wiggled around. So in my opinion its performance improvements but also prep for the survival beta test.
The new survival mode seems really interesting and kind of feels like Bethesda is stepping out of their comfort zone gameplay wise Can't wait to try it out
I'm actually waiting for the survival mode to come out for another run of the game, considering most of my current runs are actually oriented towards this kind of gameplay to begin with.
So right now I'm doing the Confidence Man quest on my new character, and [sp]as soon as the bar fight started in the dug-out Travis pulled out a pipe pistol and fucking shot both of them.[/sp] what the FUCK man
He got tired of everyone's shit.

Really can't wait for the inevitable alternate start mod as well. I fucking love starting gimmick runs every two hours, but as usual the vanilla start is a pretty big obstacle.

It gives you the options to change everything before you continue.
You can get a save file that starts right before leaving the vault. If they are bringing new weapons into DLC, I would totally want this one due to the lack of shotguns in the base game. https://www.artstation.com/artwork/nZvx6
I hope some of the concept weapons that didn't make it in are added somehow. The Institute had this really cool looking syringer-type weapon that looks a lot more interesting than the one we got. It seems like at some point during the game, the developers may have wanted to have ammo types like in New Vegas, but it didn't make it in unfortunately. Guess that's why the broadsider is a bit lackluster, since it was supposed to have different ammo types if I'm not mistaken.
fo4 is severely lacking in pump-action or other types of magazineless weapons and I really hope we get some of those soon
