I'd rather have a pump action shotgun before any other kind for now.
There were no (official) pump-action shotties in FO3, not even in DLC, i wouldnt be counting on bethesda for adding any.
I hope im wrong and they actually add atleast one on a DLC

Well, they're adding a survival/hardcore mode, so maybe they'll take other lessons from New Vegas?
...Please Todd, I'm begging you.

Hey does anyone know if Mod Organizer 2 actually works yet for Fallout 4? I've been trying to use it but launching through it seems to always make my game freeze up at the main menu.

Are you using Alpha 4? The fixed some of the issues I had with it loading before.
Do you have anything like ENB or ReShade installed? Mod Organizer 2 seems to have trouble getting to the main menu if you have those sorts of things installed. F4SE seems to work fine, though. Well, at least with the non-beta version of the game.

Weird, LOOT also doesn't work, it's causing crashes.
Would me having an SSD cause this problem by any chance?
I'm just going to wait for the GECK before I get back into things in Fallout 4. Well, a little longer than that so the modding scene can catch up.
Did the latest update break F4SE or something, the game won't launch

If you have the latest beta version, then yeah you will need to wait for an update for the f4se

I lost the original files but after searching for a while i found them

The X01 helmet doesnt look anywhere near like the original advance PA so i tried to recreate the colors, to see how it looked, this is how it seems
Much better than the original, but jesus christ i will wait for the classic PA mod
I don't think I'm opted in to the beta tho

I wouldn't have thought that having an SSD would cause a problem.
Are you using the version of LOOT included in MO2, or have you downloaded it and are running it through MO2?
Speaking of guns, I'm hoping modders can confirm soon enough if we can replace First Person animations. Because I'd love to finally add in a proper pump action shotgun.
I only want Bethesda to add in a pump action shotgun if it actually has a worthwhile animation.
The pump action shotgun in New Vegas suffered a lot from the honestly fucking terrible animations.
I just want a gun that doesn't need a foot of junk hanging off the forend so that your character can properly grab the gun
Next on my list of headgear that work with the Ranger visor, a security helmet.

Should I be getting a constant 60 fps on high/med settings with a gtx 950, i5-4460, and 16gb of ram? I don't like that it dips in places like corvega and diamond city of course.

yeah what was with that whole hand placement behind the pump thing? would it have been so hard to actually... y'know, put it on the pump?

I remember them explaining that, but I don't know where. Some sort of animation limitation or something like that.

Try setting shadow rendering distance to medium. And tell us your RAM speed.
Size of ram doesn't really matter when you hit the recommended specs for the game, but ram clock speed for Fallout 4 does give 5-10fps if ram speed is improved by a couple hundred mhz from what I've heard.
If they are bringing new weapons into DLC, I would totally want this one due to the lack of shotguns in the base game.

Oh cool someone other than me sharing my work, flattering! :excited:
Might make more of them.
But yeah, the game got some serious cool weapons in the concept art that never made it. hope to see some awesome weapons in the DLC.
I know people are hoping for a buttercup mount, but I'm more hopeful to build a turret mounted Giddyup Buttercup companion in the Automatron dlc.
So right now I'm doing the Confidence Man quest on my new character, and [sp]as soon as the bar fight started in the dug-out Travis pulled out a pipe pistol and fucking shot both of them.[/sp]

He might be timid, but he's not completely stupid was my thought when it happened. Kind of pissed me off though when [sp] they blamed ME for the guys getting killed when Travis had clearly shot them to death[/sp] .
I accidentally hit a random Diamond City resident during the mock bar fight, then Travis started shooting at everyone and everyone ganged up on Travis.
It was fucking hilarious.

Do you do animation work as well?
i would love to see more homemade weapons in the game, if even just one more. when the GECK releases i hope more people start working on the concept garage guns, 'cause they're awesome. it would make Survival so dope if you followed a weapon progression system where a variety of homemade weapons serve most of your early game needs while you obtain pre-war guns from bosses, legendary enemies, and hard-to-find loot.
plus it would be a great reason to put weapon condition back in. maybe just for the homemade guns, or, make it so they need repairs just in order to function, while pre-war weapons can be used for far longer before becoming unreliable.
For those of you who are fans of the art for the new DLCs, they just released a T-Shirt featuring the promo art for the robot expansion.

Maybe they'll make shirts for each DLC that's released?

What? When I did it danse thought it was a stupid plan, then vaporized everyone because his fucking AI can't comprehend what his voice actor agreed to.
Then I had to do it all over again without danse present but Travis never brought a gun

It might be because the weapon's idle animation is shared with other weapons to prevent loading too many animations into memory or other storage limitations.

this is stupidly useful and will only fuel my need to hoard pretty much everything.
It needs some random lables too like
"Perfectly preserved food" and "not perfectly preserved food"
"Cake" and "not cake"
Maybe
""Meat""
