"So, the player's in Concord with Preston. How do we get them to proceed to diamond city in a nice, subtle suggestion sort of way in order to continue the main quest?" "Have a psychic old lady shove it down their throat. Leave me alone, I have a whole lot of cocaine you're distracting me from" [editline]jews did nine eleven[/editline]
yea i mean if you're trapped somewhere with legitimately no food supply, there's your option? thank god Harland had more than a tiny area to survive in that happened to have a few big bugs around! [editline]21st January 2016[/editline] im just saying that if you're gonna bitch and moan about how it makes no sense for them to survive without food, there are ways for them to overcome that (that was even covered in previous games, with the feral ghouls!!!)
haha yeah those losers caring about a game having consistency and a believable world what the fuck do they know xd
So I'm a bit torn on how I want to do my next playthrough. I'm torn between making the character into Spike Spiegel for a slightly stealthier style, Space Dandy for low intelligence and high luck shenanigans, or Mr. Torgue for explosions, melee, and balls-a-blazing (no sneaking). Also open to suggestions. Rate Winner for Spike, Funny for Dandy, Zing for Torgue, or Optimistic for something else.
So Dandy won: [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/367408984863770973/D21C695C78923C401A92F8A63E22E80DC7DC5CB3/[/t] Space Dandy...he's a dandy guy...in Massachusetts.

I made a batch file that disables Preston and his crew, and makes sure When Freedom Calls doesn't run.
0001a4d7.disable 0001a4d9.disable 0001a4da.disable 0001a4d8.disable 0001a4db.disable 000370e3.disable 0001e2ea.unlock stopquest 001a001c
Might be useful to those of you who really don't feel like dealing with the introductory quests and the Minutemen again.
I'm legitimately surprised by the number and placement of companion reaction moments. Like this gem. -Snip- You're going to suffocate in that closet, MacCready. Also one of Strong's few actually funny moments.
Yeah, the companion dialogue in this game is tremendously enjoyable; easily one of the best improvements they made. Also, it's uncanny how much Cait in N7 armor looks like FemShep. I'll have to do that.
How can I figure out what's causing my CTDs? Recently installed some settlement mods (Spring Cleaning, Homemaker, SSEx), let NMM do the load order and double checked it. Seems to crash at random times, once while picking up and placing a light repeatedly and once just moving a lantern.
make sure to head straight for the alien blaster
tbh for a silly roleplay run like that I'd just give it to myself in the console and just not pick up other guns.
Alright alright fine, Cait isn't as bad as I thought she was at first. Actually has a pretty tragic backstory, and I wound up more invested in her final quest than I was expecting. Her admission that [sp]she'd been shooting up psycho whenever and wherever she could when I wasn't looking[/sp], combined with the fact [sp]I'd actually caught her quickly putting a used pack of it away after looking the other way for long enough a couple times[/sp], that went a long way towards [sp]portraying her as a genuine addict. Someone who needs their fix, but is ashamed of their weakness, so they try their hardest to be discrete.[/sp] All in all, yeah, I'd say she redeemed herself. The fact she's still bitchy about everything is really offputting though, and it's especially confusing after her final quest, for those of you who know how it ends. There's no reason for her to dislike you helping people after you spent all that time helping her with something that's plagued her for most of her life.
It's funny, she told me that and I was like "I doubt bethesda actually put that in the game" Lo and behold, she did it within 5 minutes of telling me.
She's more open with it after telling you. Again, it's amazing they actually programmed these little details.
It's funny, she told me that and I was like "I doubt bethesda actually put that in the game" Lo and behold, she did it within 5 minutes of telling me.
i would hope they'd do something like that, considering how far they went through in greatly improving animations.
How do I mute the baby in Fallout 4? [editline]22nd January 2016[/editline] http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/8637/? Nevermind found a good mod!

Outstanding
[sp] I thoughts that Father had already underwent treatment for his cancer but it didn't help at all?[/sp]
It'd be nice if there was a way to disable the goddamn tutorial messages.
supressors, scopes, bayonets new mag sizes etc imho REALLY shouldn't require a workbench to install.
Agreed. Suppressors are useful, but they ruin the "look" of some of the guns, so I wish you could more easily take them on and off too.
a Crysis-like system would be nice. hit a hotkey (hold Tab perhaps?) to bring up the crafting menu for the gun you're holding, with only the sights/muzzle/magazine sections available, and only the mods you're carrying displayed as options
Or have that mods tab in the Pip-boy inventory actually do something and be able to add and remove mods from that.
it's funny that in this situation, it's new vegas that's right with the gun modding
it's funny that in this situation, it's new vegas that's right with the gun modding
Can't take them off in New Vegas either though.
Can't take them off in New Vegas either though.
oh, yeah, you're right you can only remove them with the weapon mods menu mod well, my point still kind of stands i guess

So I found a plasma infused shotgun. Is that as good as it sounds? Or is the +10 energy damage spread across all the bullets in the shot instead of being applied to each?
all legendaries on shotguns are op as shit, they apply per pellet so its +10 damage per pellet
except two shot which adds one extra pellet or something dumb
