except two shot which adds one extra pellet or something dumb
Nah I checked, two-shot doubles the pellet count, but nearly halves the accuracy. Significantly stronger, but requires you to be LITERALLY point blank to land all of them.
Two-shot combat shotgun is on par with a stock gauss rifle in terms of damage, once you give it the best receiver.
Hey General. I have something a bit different for you. Wanna go bowling?
explosive shotgun beats everything because of the armor penetration and stagger + the sheer damage
Except if you clip anything too close to you with your shot you instantly die :v:
I found mighty double barreled shotgun. Renamed it supershotgun out of doom 2. Works very much like it too. Fire both barrels at supermutant and down it goes.
Pre-Confidence Man Travis' meltdowns are damn funny.
I like to imagine that the meltdown he has about stuff being moved around after talking about The Railroad was due to Deacon. Being the master of disguise and stealth that he is, he snuck in and rearranged Travis' stuff during down time of not being my companion. No ill intent, not for any reason other than "he was bored and wanted to mess with Travis".
As much as an obsidian fallout set in louisiana or whatever could be interesting I'd be pretty disappointed if it means dropping the cowboy/wild west aesthetic.
Plus as far as I'm concerned the obsidian/original games are about the NCR, their origin, and expansion east. A sudden jump to the other side of the country (I realise how this sounds when that's exactly what fo3/4 are) would leave a sort of unpleasant taste in my mouth.

I would totally be down with a Louisiana fallout game.

true but i think plasma touched shotgun still is funny because everyone you shoot at gets gooified, and its pretty much the best way to get nuclear material
put a silencer on it, upgrade it, and you've now got something that hilariously makes people disappear when you shoot them
So I'm at the level where charred feral ghouls are starting to appear. Jesus christ those things are no joke on higher difficulty, even my plasma thrower took a bit to kill them and they kept two-hitting me.
Mod Idea: A mod that adds the bomb from Megaton as something you can place. It can be armed and detonated, removing a settlement from the game completely.
Only then will I be free from Abernathy Farm. Those people in particular seem to be unable to do ANYTHING by themselves. They get kidnapped multiple times in the same day. They need help to kill a single leather wearing pipe pistol using raider. A single feral ghoul well well away from them is "trouble". How they are able to feed themselves or BREATH on their own is a damn mystery.

It's great I can finally slap a more crude scope onto my weapons. Seems more fitting.

New overview of the settlement.

It's gonna be real easy to go overboard with OCDecorator.

Only 4 settlers at the moment, but once I get a trade route to graygarden I'll remove all the farms other than some mutfruit for decor.
I genuinely don't understand why taking more than one of the same chem at a time doesn't increase the effect.
Like, I get why from a balance perspective, but perhaps it could A: Give diminishing returns (each additional dose is 50% less effective), B: Drastically increase addiction likelihood, and C: Also carry an OD mechanic, where based on your END, too much of the same chem in a short time and you drop dead.

If you ever wanted Preston to be Roman Bellic, there's a mod for that.
Except Roman Bellic is a likable and endearing character, even if he gets a bit annoying.
COUSIN
THERE'S A NEW SETTLEMENT THAT NEEDS YOUR HELP
BUT FIRST, BOWLING! AND THEN TO THE CLUB TO SEE GREAT BIG AMERICAN TITTIES!
someone make this a mod please.
Roman Bellic reminds me of why I'm so conflicted about the story of GTA IV.
It's so god damn bleak you can take more joy out of reading a suicide letter. Even the comic relief fat bowling obsessed character gets fucked over horribly in that game.

Getting addicted to jet should just make it how it was in Fallout 2, a crappy drug only designed for profit which doesn't give you any benefit other than briefly removing the withdrawal penalty

Wouldn't it just be one big-ass Point Lookout? Or like a radioactive version of Left 4 Dead 2?
I'd much rather have it set somewhere like Chicago or Denver or Seattle.

Salt Lake City please
I wouldn't mind Detroit, if only because I'm curious what they'd do with it. It hadn't gone to hell yet in the 50s, and as far as we know the stuff that made it so bad didn't happened in the Fallout universe.
Also obligatory Canada DLC.
Obligatory "aloha smoothskin" mention.
But really I'd like to see what happens to former legion territory, whether the remnants fizzled back into small tribes and have gone back to bickering hostilities between themselves or if they've managed to form a new alliance.
I am here to ask you one question, and one question only;

ikr, i could never [sp] let him die in gta IV[/sp]
I want a DLC that expands the[sp]USS Constitution quest into a full fledged swashbuckling adventure around the sea![/sp]
$400
Why would they pick T-45 instead of T-60? Seems kinda odd seeing how T-60 is the shiny new armor...
so has anyone else experiences a gamebreaking bug where you CTD upon entering the cell that Concord is in?
ever since i started a new playthrough i CTD anytime i attempt to enter concord, making the main questline impossible to continue.

just skip around to dc, you don't even need to visit concord

Jet was really useful in F2 though, other than it's addiction rate. Used to slam Vic with 2 vials before each hard fight so he'd just go on a never ending shooting spree with his Gauss rifle on each turn.
Taking a few inhalers and having an extra 4 AP lets you take another shot/burst with your gun per turn, which was nothing to turn your nose up at, really.

well it is made so that they could easily make the other sets for it as well
