Todd blows features way out of proportion to make them sound cooler than they are, not really anything new.
I love the idea that Todd doesn't actually write these down, he just always gets overzealous when selling his game and the PR department always has a heart attack because they know this shit's gonna be a problem in a couple years
was the unique name thing even used outside of the initial codsworth dialogue? I never noticed it again.
Does your character still tell the whole "I saved Preston and killed a deathclaw" story even if you haven't done it?
Nope, my character that never went to concord couldn't even talk to the class. Kid showed me it on the tour, and I never had the chance to have that interaction. Unless i totally missed out on how to make it happen, they just made it so it doesn't even happen.
Did you talk to the teacher?
Yes, pretty sure she just said generic lines, and never triggered an actual conversation. I even tried going back multiple times but class wasn't in session each time.
iirc you can tell the class the story but it's the same whether or not you met prolapse gametes
So I've been playing a new game and trying to just build up every settlement as much as possible and see how far I can rank up after finishing[sp]Reunions[/sp]. I've also made an effort to build them with materials I've had to acquire instead of using godmode and building like I pleased, like I did my last few playthroughs. I'm really enjoying the building aspect, I just kill a raider or super mutant den, take their guns and modded armor and break it down when I need things like copper and screws and the like :v: Here's my Sanctuary. What happend to those rumors or something that three dog would have returned for F4?
They were rumors. I saw this on reddit, a user took a bunch of overhead screenshots and stitched them together https://www.reddit.com/r/fo4/comments/42lc37/i_made_an_overhead_map_of_the_commonwealth/
wow that makes the map looks seriously tiny but it's quite misleading
tbh the first time i saw fallout 4's map ingame on the pipboy i was like "goddamn this map is pretty tiny compared to fallout 3's and new vegas's", but it turned out to be roughly the same size.
I think it's an illusion from the cramped pip boy screen. Honestly I hope a mod to replace the pip boy is one of the first things, it's way too small, especially when you use a higher FOV

can someone help me http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/978/? which files do i download there are like 20 different files am i just supposed to download the 2 base files and all of the hotfixes or do the 2 base files come with the hotfixes?
[QUOTE=Cpt. Just get part 1 and 2 and the optional hotfix file if grass looks wonky.

But the minutemen don't even have to attack any other faction if you play your cards right
But the minutemen don't even have to attack any other faction if you play your cards right
It´s a joke, I know you can finish the game with only having destroyed the institute.
The problem is that both sides have people who are stubborn as Liberty Prime's hull and are illogical. There's no alternative people who are willing to change that. Which is downright disappointing the Elder Ending was cut out.
i really wish one of the terminals in vault 111 had a light implication that the cryopods had memory rewriting abilities nothing overt, just enough to allow people to actually role play. In this role playing game. [editline]25th January 2016[/editline] bethesda really like the number one, don't they
IMHO becoming the director of the institute should have been scrapped alongside the option to become elder because not only does it 1. introduce the skyrim style meaningless title creep but 2. completely cheapen the choices the player is forced to make.
[sp]This is one of the most mind-bending problems with the plot. The Institution is the opposition force in this game, and they put you in charge of them! Why the hell can't I solve the Institute problem from within? Especially if I have the Brotherhood and/or the Railroad and/or the Minutemen to back me up with force if need be?[/sp]
Charisma is Fallout games has always made everyone your bitch. You can stop a civil war by smiling and snapping your fingers.
run towards them, then go around the buildings?
It'll only delay the inevitable.
Is it bad I feel myself not playing/continuing my F4 playthrough in hopes the first DLC is detailed soon
Charisma is Fallout games has always made everyone your bitch. You can stop a civil war by smiling and snapping your fingers.
I've always thought that was a big issue with it, it's too easy to accomplish big things. Rather than simply having to complete a single very hard speech check, you should have to actually maneuver through a conversation and make the right speech checks to do anything huge. Either that, or not have the ability at all; putting points into Speech/Charisma so you have the power to tell a boss "Nah, I don't feel like fighting you, you can just go home" is boring.

Not that I've played those sort of things.
Does your character still tell the whole "I saved Preston and killed a deathclaw" story even if you haven't done it?
It used to. On my Institute "ignore Codsworth and Concord" playthrough, when I talked to the teacher she just said generic things about me, no dialog camera this time
The classroom storytelling is a huge wasted opportunity. It'd be great if you could come over multiple times and tell stuff you did to the kids, depending on your progression in the game and the quests you've done. Like, telling them you are more than two centuries old, went into the glowing sea, and helped the USS Constitution fly into a building. Can't help but think it's more cut content.

I haven't used this in a minute so I wouldn't specifically know, but if that's how it's now released as, I'd use as intended. So much. Where the fuck is Yes Man to just surprise the shit out of you going "GOLLY JEEPERS, sorry I didn't want to scare you, but there is a massive power play going on in the Commonwealth, would you like to know how to make all of them passive and under your control? My analytic processors have deduced this within 99.1% efficiency. The other percentage is for if people view synths as a security risk or not!"
