People don't make things because they're easy. Unless you are super lazy.
People don't make things because they're easy. This has nothing to do with me "not liking new vegas" or anything like that it's just that I'm realistic about what modding can do and how fast it can do it.
Literally nothing I said was close to this
You went on a pointless rant about how its pointless to remake New Vegas because of gun mechanics. which still makes 0 sense.
You went on a pointless rant about how its pointless to remake New Vegas because of gun mechanics. which still makes 0 sense.
back then I said the scope of the remake would far exceed the actual gain from it, because realistically you'd only get a graphical update and better gunplay. Power Armor is so rare in New Vegas it can hardly be considered an improvement. [editline]26th January 2016[/editline]
you're looking at atleast 5 years time if they would start tommorow
Make than ten and you'd be closer
No one is remaking New Vegas just so they can have Fallout 4's power armor system.
No one is remaking New Vegas just so they can have Fallout 4's power armor system.
Can you try actually answering an argument once in your life and not just cherry pick two words and be done with it
Can you try actually answering an argument once in your life and not just cherry pick two words and be done with it
Thanks, that means a lot coming from the master of cherry picking.
Sorry. I only brought up tale of two wastelands because I was trying to say my point was that Fallout 3 and New Vegas are similar in both assets and engine. However, It was still a huge undertaken. And is still not "technically" finished.
No one is saying it will be easy. But Ganerumo is saying it's going to be really hard so you might as well not do it. If people didn't do things because they were hard we probably wouldn't even have Fallout.
Even if obsidian releases another Fallout game. Would we all buy it? Hell yea. But New Vegas will still be something special to a lot of us and would still love to see it in a newer engine. So if a remake by the community does start. I don't think how much time it will take will matter. Just knowing that it is being done will be enough to be worth the wait. I think the only problem will be if it takes too long and Fallout 5 is announced on a new engine. :v:
You know it's funny because you keep assuming I don't like New Vegas when I'm simply smart enough to enjoy the games for what they do well and not be realistic enough to not be a bitch about what they do wrong, while remaining critical of them. I have my preferences in the series but that doesn't mean I'm openly avert to outright touching any of them. New Vegas is my least favorite of the recent games and I've still got several hundred hours on the game. I could rip Fallout 4 or Fallout 3 to fucking shreds for their issues but as it turns out these issues aren't the kind of shit that needs or deserves that, same deal with NV's issues. If someone started talking about how cool it'd be to bring Fallout 3 over to the Fallout 4 engine I'd also shoot them down by saying it wouldn't be worth the while.
Guys, guys, stop fighting, we all know the House always wins is the best ending
Guys, guys, stop fighting, we all know the House always wins is the best ending
Legion for life
How dare you. Yes Man and I will kick all your asses.

may the NCR reign in glorious mediocrity they're my favourite faction because I know they'll make the most progress while accomplishing the least
The people who are still religiously waiting for half life 3 are more delusional than the people who see jesus in toasted bread.
Will spawning in Merelene's Holotape have a negative affect on my game? it dissappeared entirely from mine.
The people who are still religiously waiting for half life 3 are more delusional than the people who see jesus in toasted bread.
look do you need to take a nap or something
Will spawning in Merelene's Holotape have a negative affect on my game? it dissappeared entirely from mine.
Save before doing it, spawn it in, save again in a different file just in case, quit the game, and enter it again from the second save. Spawning something will not affect your game, but if you want to keep unlocking achievements in that session, do as I instructed.
Atlascore is absolutely right. As much as I'd love to see New Vegas and Fallout 3 remade in the new engine, there's not much you could improve to justify the massive effort it would take.
you fucked it up obviously you'd need to say it like this; AVE, TRUE TO CAESAR.
Fuck caesar he's a pompous bitch. His ending is still the best, but Caesar himself is a fucking hunk of steaming shit.

Does it keep you from unlocking achievements at all.
Fallout 4 doesn't disable achievements for using the console. (Thankfully) New Vegas does disable achievements. IIRC so does Fallout 3.
What do you me unlocking achievements? Does it keep you from unlocking achievements at all.
If you use commands on a session, achievements will not unlock in THAT session, however, if you quit the game and re-enter the save, even if you had used commands in that save, everything is fine. But remember, quit and re-enter the save after using a command in it.
What do you me unlocking achievements? Does it keep you from unlocking achievements at all.
Only New Vegas does it afaik
Fuck caesar he's a pompous bitch. The rest are power-hungry sociopaths who are gonna get corrupted the instant Caesar isn't there to keep them in line. He's not that bad either, he's pompous but I think he's earned it after what he's done.

There was never a good reason for HD horse dongs and people did it anyway. Some people have way too much free time on their hands, let them do something useful for once if they want to
