Well, except that becoming a ghoul is supposed to be a pretty rare genetic trait. I don't think that really matters for the sake of mods though; now that ghouls are threatening in groups and we have a building system to make things interesting, a zombie apocalypse mod could be fun.
Since when do Zombie mods care for that kind of shit? I just want to frantically shoot at a horde of fast silent ghouls.
Honestly, I barely even remember Three-Dog. Last time I played Fallout 3 was a little after Operation: Anchorage came out, early 2009.
meanwhile i do remember MR NEEEW Vegas.... and his newsman fedora..... which IS A LIE!
I want Fawkes back.
Fawkes was a good character Strong is a shit-tier character who hates everything and likes no one [sp]Strong dislikes this[/sp]
I want Fawkes back.
That would be unfair to the all of the factions' troops combined.
Fawkes was a good character Strong is a shit-tier character who hates everything and likes no one [sp]Strong dislikes this[/sp]
"TINKER TINKER TINKER, STRONG BORED."
Measure what? Strong confused!
Strong hated that.
I want Fawkes back.
Personally I always wondered what happened to Fawkes. I really hope it's something more than just being gunned down by Maxson under his control of the BOS back in DC.

What if Fawkes was an escaped Synth exposed to FEV? It could explain his intelligence, because in an Institute terminal I swear they mentioned testing FEV on Gen 3 Synths with some success over previous, non-synth FEV subjects.
Welp, I don't know if it's the beta or what, but now FO4 won't run for more than a minute before crashing. I walked off the bridge in Sanctuary shortly after loading the save and crashed; restarted the game and fast-traveled to Natick and got in a tussle with a super mutant only to crash after landing a few shots on him, repeated that one more time and gave up. Is this common?
Any help? I don't have any mods or anything.

Strong's dumb, and Bethesda pretty much nailed that. The reason Strong sucks is because he's not very interesting as a concept. You cant do much with a generic, dumb super mutant like you could with characters like Fawkes or Marcus. You just end up with an annoying, picky fuck who hates everything you do and doesn't match up to any conceivable play style, and his retard speak doesn't help ease that at all.
I feel like Strong would have been a better pick if you could influence his likes and dislikes like you can influence Cait to a degree.
Fawkes was a good character Strong is a shit-tier character who hates everything and likes no one [sp]Strong dislikes this[/sp]
oh hey cool a super mutant companion *gets in power armor* "Strong disliked that" welp, seeya fucker
I like how I live in my pristine prewar home while everyone else just lives in squander in Sanctuary
there's legitimately a really strong spinoff concept in that
imagine Fallout: Caravans set in texas or somewhere similar, you go between vehicle and on foot seamlessly like with horses in the elder scrolls games, imagine running out of coolant for the generator in your fusion powered truck so you gotta ditch it while you wander down the ruined highways hoping to come across somewhere you can get coolant, or maybe you manage to convert your beater to a different fuel source like microfusion cells, so you occasionally head into the towns backed by the more high tech groups to get fuel, but its a risk in areas with lower tech. make the whole conflict between trader groups, it doesn't have to have a big moral question, it could just be a case of taking out the competition and establishing a monopoly on the vital trade routes between towns, if beth NEED to force old factions in there, make it so some BOS outcasts are pulling the strings behind one of the groups or something similar, hell have BOS or NCR dudes going aroud in those armoured humvees things we see around in fallout 4. [editline]3rd February 2016[/editline] basically cross Fallout with Book of Eli and Mad Max, would be an interesting spin off, you inherit an old caravan company that doesn't really have anything to it's name, you start building it up then STORY stuff happens and you can decide to throw your lot in with one of the factions, go independent with your company, or just do your own thing and let the other factions all just fight it out
I kinda hope that if we do get a DLC where we return to the capital wasteland(not saying we are, but hell anything's a possibility when bethesda tells us nothing about DLC), we get Fawkes back as a companion. I just like having super mutant companions that aren't stupid and hate everything.
And beaten via Minutemen. Jesus fuck that was annoying. Which sucks because I should be in love with the Minutemen, only issue is they're inherantly tied to the fucking settlement system. I was legit pissed when I hit what was basically a quest wall, and couldn't progress until I had 8 SETTLEMENTS. Granted I only needed two more, but still it's obnoxious. I love the clothing, I love the Laser Musket, I love Garvey, I love every concept about the minutemen, EXCEPT THAT YOU HAVE TO DEAL WITH SETTLEMENTS IN ORDER TO PROGRESS. Which is why next playthough is gonna be different. My Minutemen playthrough was a super charismatic play and being nice as hell, but this time FUCK ALL OF THAT! I'm going pure Brotherhood, FUCK settlements, FUCK (sadly) the Minutemen, Fuck the Railroad, Fuck the Institute, FUCK IT! SOLDIER TIME! AD VICTORUM MOTHER FUCKER!
Fawkes was a good character Strong is a shit-tier character who hates everything and likes no one [sp]Strong dislikes this[/sp]
idk what you were expecting when you unlocked strongs companionship, but he's just another super mutant who instead follows you and not his brothers who were going to kill him. He never said he liked the human life style or what they do, but he does admire a warrior that doesn't need drugs or power armor to fight. He likes when you adopt to his life style, help others and don't exploit them, eating anything to survive and showing courage to take on anything. Most of all, fighting. If you don't care about super mutants enough to understand their pov then strong isn't the companion for you. Fawkes might have been a great companion, but the only aspect of him being a super mutant was, well, physically being one. In every other way he was as human as you.
I JUST FUCKING REALIZED, as I talk about Beth and "cool moments" that's what the ending was. [sp]HEY, LET'S TAKE THAT PART FROM FALLOUT 3 WHERE YOU NUKE A PLACE AND MAKE THAT THE ENDING?![/sp] Jesus Beth come on I love you guys :c.
You guys are using Strong incorrectly He's the companion you use when you go on a rampage and kill everybody for fun, he loves that shit
so elder maxson is kim jong un yes or yes

The Master's initial tests all produced super mutants with very low iq and a brute manner (kind of like Strong) so he branched out so he could create super mutants who were smarter. His whole plan was to create a new breed of humanity, and he certainly would not have done it with a bunch of big dumb brutes. The super mutants who ended up like Strong were ultimately seen as a failed attempt.
I liked how strong was a non special snow-flake super mutant follower, and I tend to have him with me from time to time, but the way they handled him was super dumb. making a character dislike actions often required for progression in dungeons is the stupidest thing ive ever seen- and one of the first things I modded out of fallout 4. Also the fact his whole milk of human kindness shit goes completely unresolved by the end of his personal affinity quest is retarded, yeah GG bethesda, the huge mutant that follows you around does it because he thinks you are helping him find something that doesn't actually exist, that sounds like a good basis for a permanent relationship with a wasteland orc who has already shown he is slightly more intelligent than his brethren and could still smush your head with one hand.
