Speaking of one of those images, is Gunner-emblazoned combat armor actually in the game? I've fought and killed probably hundreds of Gunners, but I don't ever remember seeing anybody wearing combat armor with their logo on it. Brotherhood, sure, but not Gunners or anybody else. It seems kinda disappointing, because I would have loved if you could decorate combat armor with symbols like you can with power armor. It gets kind boring seeing the star on the chest piece.
I want to build settlements in locations that make sense.
Why would you build shacks made of porous wood and rusty metal in the middle of nowhere. Why not take over the Corvega factory, the breweries or the mass fusion tower ? All these places are well preserved and were designed to pruduce stuff. Just bring people in, restore the machines in working conditions and you could have sick bases.
Idk i would have liked to have some settlements in terrible places, like a bunker in the middle of the glow just so that you could farm legendaries from some sort of fortification

Some of the journal entries you can find regarding these places make it clear that they're too sought out by raiders to be safe settlements.
If you take out the corvega raiders, the beantown brewery know very quickly, and plan on making a movie and sweeping in soon (unless you show up and kill them all first). Same with the federal ration stockpile. On top of the ghoul infestation issues (the corvega plant is right next to ghoul infested Lexington and has ghouls crawling into the plant through the sewers regularly) you'd have to take care of constant waves of raiders coming up to take it back.
Not to mention that places like corvega and beantown brewery lack the space to grow food. That'd make resupplying the settlers very tricky, as not a lot of caravans go by due to the aforementioned ghoul and raider infestation problems.
I'm making a fallout cosplay and I'm planning to put a little speaker in my pocket to play some good ol' pre-war tunes
These are the songs I got so far, any suggestions would be very welcome

Uhm
Your pipboy has a radio on it that can play music
Have you played the games?
the contrary. i had many mods and i'd never crash unless there was a blatantly broken/conflicting mod of some sort, easily fixable cause you can pinpoint what it was. with this update i've never had to go through disabling stuff and even starting new characters and still consistently crash. it appears people on the steam and the nexus forums have CTD problems ever since too, but they could easily be different problems from what I have.
I had 100+ hours in the game before the patch (and no mods), but I CTD consistently after a few minutes of playing. It's sort of comforting to hear that it's not only me having that problem, I guess?

Oh, I was just thinking out of the box for something fun to cosplay as you didn't exactly say what you were cosplaying and that the phone would be in your pocket not on your wrist/beneath your pipboy

That's actually a glitch, I believe if you equip Danse with anything other than his default BoS outfit or remove it in any fashion, since it's possible to change his default outfit under his Power Armour, it'll basically remain unequipped on him after that, leading to some silly looking circumstances during his quest.

Considering in Skyrim/FO companions choose their default crappy armor regardless of what you give them during cell switching, more like Danse wasn't properly updated.
Not really played NV or FO3 since they've came out and I've never modded either of those games. Any suggestions for mods?
For NV so far I have a bunch of weapon retextures from Millenia, and Project Nevada. Not sure about anything for FO3. Anything else? My preference is gameplay/graphics enhancements/restoring cut content.
Maybe its that guy the raiders keep taking about.
Sound Effects Guy cameo pls, Bethesda
He's the hero the Wasteland needs

You could always go the Tale of Two Wastelands route and combine FO3 + NV into one game
Edit: Also look up the New Vegas Uncut series of mods, they add in a few things that were cut from vanilla although be warned the Freeside Open one is quite performance intensive
Fallout 4 really doesn't help me getting over my fear of mannequins.

No thanks, never liked the concept of TTW. I'd rather play both games separately to be honest.
I genuinely want, once the GECK comes out, for there to be like a billion unique Power Armour pieces, especially in F4 because you're now wearing like a Mech Suit, you could have so many new things

apparently it's a hunting rifle? or something? I'm just reading the comments
I installed some shit and read some guides and got FO4 running smooth enough for me to play it as a shooter and man, it feels really nice. I wish I was able to play like this on release instead of having a sub-par experience the whole damn time.
I still need to get to like, the Boston Common but right now it feels fine.
Speaking the Boston Common, is performance there consistently bad for everyone? I've lowered stuff down but my computer always seem to chug there specifically the end of the Freedom Trail.

I can run the game on ultra everywhere but there
so what I did was I turned down the draw distances to 50% and the detail distances to "Low" and that helped noticeably
Now Fallout throws an error that means jack shit when I close it.
