Is it just me or did the beta patch break the hazmat suit? I put it on to build in the water at Taffington Boathouse and got irradiated to fuck anyways. I'm pretty sure it didn't do that before.
Only when I add two mods that enhance armor and add music to Diamond City Radio that I get my first crash :v:.

I'm pretty sure it didn't do that before.[/QUOTE] Wouldn't surprise me if this was done on purpose to encourage use of Power Armor(though WHY it would still work with despite having a lower rad resist is beyond me) or the Aqua-Person perk. Seeing as I took said perk well before the beta, I didn't notice.

Once you take care of it and slap on some rad protection, there are some notes that give a little insight to "why".

Seeing as I took said perk well before the beta, I didn't notice.[/QUOTE] why the hell would they break the hazmat suit on the only thing it's worth for on purpose mind you, i don't think its so unlikely that they broke it, because breaking things is what bethesda does best, but surely it wasn't intentional or to make people use power armor. because they barely need to do that anyway and if they really wanted to they would just make fusion cores (even) easier to find

[sp]Swan[/sp] was one of my favorite encounters i've had so far. I'd already seen it in a Robbaz video, and when i got near my mind started going "hey... this looks familiar...". Then i got to the middle, and then it came out, then i ran away because there was no way i could handle it.
Over the 8 or so years I've had my computer, I've exceeded $8,000 in parts from upgrades and such, but I only just got an SSD in the past four months because my HDD died, and even though I've spent a lot of money - I couldn't run that 4k shit people are obsessed with.

Idk, i like them 4k retextures, some of the textures are icky when you run game in 2k-4k. Not making out with the walls thought.... ignore the penis shaped hole in wall.

Did the new beta patch improve any performance? Atleast for AMD? Don't know if I want to install it and ruin my mods.
God I wish T60 was rarer, or only spawned on brotherhood members/atom cats or something because I'm getting so sick of seeing it all the damn time when T45 and T51 are criminally underused in the game.

I know the US Army was using the T-60 pre-war too, but the 51 is the suit usually associated with the military (and is seemingly a lot more common in lore), so it would've been nice if pre-war soldiers were outfitted in it and it was more common in military installations. Also, I would've liked the Atom Cats using T-51 armor instead of T-60. T-60 seems too rare for a bunch of random, relatively harmless motor hobbyists to have enough suits for everyone, and imo T-51 just looks better with the hot rod paints. Would also work nicely with the biker inspiration, considering the popularity of motorcycles IRL started with soldiers using them in WWII, so a bunch of mechanics modifying the suits used in the liberation of Anchorage would be a fun parallel.
I would've liked if the Brotherhood had mostly T-45s/T-51s, rather than exactly all of them having T-60s. At least from a gameplay perspective, it's just way too easy to get the second best power armor in the game by just gunning down a brotherhood knight.
Power armor grade based on rank in the BoS would've made sense. T-45 for baseline knights, T-51 for knight-sergeants and above, T-60 for paladins, and repurposed X-01 for star paladins and above.
