You know what this means though right? In my opinion, the announcement of the survival overhaul and GECK will be soon. Maybe not next week, but I feel sooner than we think. I mean after only a few days of waiting we got this big announcement of several DLC.
Man they are putting me between a rock and a hard place. If I wait to buy the season pass then I will have to pay $60. On the other hand if I buy it now I don't know if the DLCs will be worth it or not.
But Far Harbor looks more then worth it.
Those posters are awesome though
They did just say you have a chance before march 1st to get the season pass at the low price.
I'm fucking giddy knowing I got it last month, so I get alot of content in the future for $33.
But it's obvious they're gonna make us want to run to buy it now for a cheap price, rather than $49.99.
Pretty clever move there Beth.

I hope they release them as posters or lithographs, same with the magazine covers.

Don't season passes stay around after dlcs come out? Wait for reviews then see

Fuck yeah! I knew they'd go to Maine. I wish it was portland, or mainland but still. These DLCs sound great, as well as more dlc coming after.
by 'Mechanist' do they mean that superhero weirdo guy from fo3
I think they mean the one from the Silver Shroud radio show, who was a reference to that dude

I'm feeling pretty good knowing I only spent $20 AUD on my season pass :v:

also moddable robot companion = Assaultron Waifu
Picked up the season pass. At this point it would be foolish not to.
Also, kind of off topic, but I figured I'd talk about it since it's kind of interesting. I read that the movie Radioactive Dreams was an inspiration for the orignal Fallout, although I could not find a cite note confirming or denying this. I don't know if any of you are familiar with it, but it's kind of hard to deny the similarities. The opening takes place in a dilapidated fallout shelter, there's a '50s throwback aesthetic to things, cannibals, mutants- basically a lot of things that ended up in Fallout but weren't in Mad Max.

It's not a great movie, but it has its charm. And it goes to show that Fallout really could have benefited from ending with a dance number.
Just seeing Far Harbor alone makes me regret not picking up the Season Pass during Christmas.
Guess I'm paying $50 if I want all the DLC.
Trying to sign up for the DLC beta but it keeps saying I have not filled in the necessary fields.
I'm guessing you need to say yes to "Season Pass" but the news article says you don't need to purchase the DLC if you're selected for the beta.
Players accepted into the beta will receive a code to redeem the content. The beta is the full version (complete with achievements) and those participating will not have to purchase the add-on.
You can still get it at the current price, it doesn't go up to full price until March 1st.

The season pass is $40 in Canada.
Guys the season pass price will be raised since they're gonna be doing a lot more dlcs than they planned, so buy it now while it's still $15 cheaper.
Nevermind you all know already.

Yeah, but I need to get my un-employed ass a job.
Good thing I started handing out resumes, maybe I can get a job/a paycheck right before the 1st.
The season pass is $40 in Canada.
Oh, thought it was $30 still
Fuck our dollar man, seriously.
Don't season passes stay around after dlcs come out? Wait for reviews then see
They're raising the price of the dlc by like 33%, it's either buy it now or pay more for it later.
I kind of hope one of the future DLC's brings us to Atlantic City or something as an excuse to bring back casinos and gambling. That's assuming people have settled there and revived the gambling scene from the past and it's not just an irradiated rubble pile still.
While the premise of Far Harbor sounds interesting, I hope that it's not the same quality as the writing of the main game, but better. The way they talk about it in the blog makes it sound like a cool quest that might go somewhere, but knowing Beth it might just be "shoot one side or the other" or some boring shit.
Also, it looks like they are taking advantage of their settlement system with that 5 dollar dlc, thats good. More workshop stuff could keep it interesting.

I'm pretty sure it has always been $40 in Canada.

You can get the Season Pass on GMG for $33.28 Canadian if you use their current savings code.
Far Harbor seems pretty nic-

Goddamnit, Bethesda, no one likes the Children of Atom.
Words couldn't express my disappointment when I reached the impact crater in the glowing sea.

I selected no and it worked fine.
I hope that Far Harbor will be like Point Lookout, except for the bit with the bullet sponge enemies
I selected no and it worked fine.
I filled in everything, and it keeps saying I missed a field.
Well, I'm not expecting miracles, but I quite like the sound of the DLC. Especially the robot one. Anything to flesh out the customization a bit more :v:
The Children of Atom were an ok "joke" in Fallout 3, but the fact that they grew so large and actually become a legitimate threat later down the line in Fallout 4 is just mindbogglingly stupid.
The Beta Agreement looks like a copy and paste from the Beta Agreement for Elder Scrolls Online.

i guess they could be cool if they're more explicitly cultish, as befitting the Innsmouth style setting. like nothing actually supernatural but weird obelisks and rituals and stuff, like the Monolith from STALKER
That's why you always keep a backup of saves you don't want to be deleted.
I wish Far Harbour was Lovecraft themed, and not like "Oh go here, lol Cthulhu shit" I mean pull a fast one over me Bethesda, start out a little off and bit by bit go off the deep end, I love watery stuff please.
