That's why you always keep a backup of saves you don't want to be deleted.
Well I don't think Bethesda can actually delete your local saves but they could become incompatible, that bit of information is probably meant for online games. Its just a generic beta testing agreement.
On the sign-up form for the beta, how many characters you have and what your highest level is are required questions. Kinda interesting; I'm betting they're checking what levels the DLCs should be at so people can use their current characters.

man, i sure do love the 1 euro = 1 dollar policy
by 'Mechanist' do they mean that superhero weirdo guy from fo3
cause I don't exactly have fond memories of that character or that quest involved.
The Mechanist is also a villain of the Silver Shroud
I wish Far Harbour was Lovecraft themed, and not like "Oh go here, lol Cthulhu shit" I mean pull a fast one over me Bethesda, start out a little off and bit by bit go off the deep end, I love watery stuff please.
Honestly, some fishmen wouldn't seem all that out of place, but the only problem I can see with Bethesda implementing them is they might come off as too similar to the mirelurk kings.
Yeah I tried the beta sign up a dozen times now, went over everything twice before hitting submit but it keeps saying I'm missing fields.

It went through this time, I don't think I did anything different.

Can... Can we get a diving power armour?

I want that Sentrybot
"Fuck! Todd, I'm sorry! I just can't get this robobrain to look right.. We're out of time."
"It's alright, we'll just make a dlc out of it."
"Thanks Todd, I knew you would understand."
[editline]16th February 2016[/editline]
But, I gotta say, the ability to customize robots sounds pretty kicking rad.
Far Harbor seems pretty nic-
Goddamnit, Bethesda, no one likes the Children of Atom.
Well on the upside as least we'll probably get more information as to why the CoA are bigger than they were in Fallout 3.
With the Wasteland Workshop, design and set cages to capture live creatures – from raiders to Deathclaws! Tame them or have them face off in battle, even against your fellow settlers.
I'm fucking doing a Big Boss run.
Still no actual timeline for the GECK though. Does the Beta cover that as well?
"We’re also hard at work on the Creation Kit, which will allow you to create and play mods absolutely free."
They love emphasizing this.
I bet even a sentrybot companion would have more character than Preston.
Real talk though, in my opinion Preston has plenty of character and is a very likable character.

Honestly with the new art style I wouldn't be surprised if that was why there were no Robobrains in Fallout 4 until now.
I'm fucking doing a Big Boss run.
Just wait for the eventual rape/sex mods and we can do an Immortan Joe run!
One thing that irks me is that they've got this arena stuff for DLC, but the Combat Zone is still just a one-time shooting gallery w/ free companion toy.

Well after the HUGE anger that only Fallout 4 being announced could quell I would expect them to be explicate in this, otherwise all of us start chirping about the possibility of paid mods again.
anyone who buys the Season Pass for $29.99 before March 1st will get all $60 worth of content. This is our way of saying thanks to all our loyal fans who have believed in us and supported us over the years.
Seems like a way of urging people to buy the season pass before it's too late.
They could have taken a better picture here, you can SEE the weird pixelation effect by the masts that happens sometimes with from what I remember low godray settings in game.

He doesn't even seem to care very much when [sp]you side with the Institute[/sp], which I find odd. Whereas Nick looks like he's about to kill you and Piper is basically in tears.

That's part of the idea I'd imagine, and it's a genius way to get a money boost. Kudos Beth.

Mostly because he believes you are making the right choices as general. He doesn't care what you do as long as you help settlements and don't kill a fellow Minutemen.
Piper and Nick seem really upset but then they never mention it again.

Wasn't a lot of stuff in that area cut?
Now I'm not saying mods excuse the sins of the father but...
:excited:
Wait, Far Harbor is off the coast of Maine?
I always wondered what happened to my shitty state. :v:

Not sure if they deserve praise for this one really, it's a backhanded cash grab they've sneaked in among the hype.
I'm pretty sure it has always been $40 in Canada.

Well shit, now I can't possibly pass it up.
I really hope Far Harbor will be Point Lookout 2.0.

Maine homies yo. I knew it'd be Maine because of the play on words of Bar Harbor.
