I really want to add the enclave back in when the GECK comes out. That one BOS quest has you come across some soldiers who had fused their suits before they died, I'm pretty sure I could work that into the enclave.
That reminds me of this piece of concept art art from Van buren. Actually, the ideal of an ghoulfiled enclave soldier is kinda an cool ideal for an character when thinking about it.
If you gave them all X-01 suits I wouldnt be able to tell the difference really.
That'd be a neat mod actually, quick someone make this!
The total lack of Enclave cameos in 4 made me kind of sad, you can find their armor sure, but it's not referred to and enclave armor- and it never shows up in abandoned enclave bases or anything, only ~dynamic~ loot spots. I suppose it's better than the enclave returning to bury the wastes in power goons *again*, but a faction that powerful doesn't just vanish without a trace once it's beaten.
why do people want the enclave back why
Don't know but i really enjoyed some Enclave dialogue in fo2 and that's it.
why do people want the enclave back why
Because another power armor faction in a game with good power armor would be neat.
I wish the x01 power armor was super special, like the t-51b in fo3.
i mean the enclave are kind of like nazis they're total fucking dicks, BUT THEY LOOK SUPER COOL
Danse spoilers [sp]the icing on the bitter cake of Enclave misrepresentation is post-exile Danse suddenly sprouting a set of X-01 from all alone in his bunker and never saying a word about it or what it represents or where he got it[/sp]
vats shouldn't have to be used just to make melee work. also in my opinion it's just boring to have the game play itself.
True but if you are trying to take out assaultrons, vats in to put the hits on, then back off

It doesn't make any sense.[/sp]

Or at least, there should've been an explanation for SUDDENLY HIGH TECH ULTRA-RARE SUPER ARMOR.[/sp]

[editline]18th February 2016[/editline] Don't believe me? Check the bottom right corner over there, below Van Buren v1.0. SFall is a script extender? made by modders for Fallout 2.
I wish the x01 power armor was super special, like the t-51b in fo3.
Right? Like when you're level 60 or something every suit of power armor you find is X-01, and I found like one suit of t-60.
does anyone understand why, if you're in power armor and in third person with your weapon ready, holding W and then A makes your character backstep diagonally to the right? like how the hell does something that basic not work?
van buren was interplay's fallout 3
He's talking about the text at the bottom.
van buren was interplay's fallout 3
E3245 is saying that that particular screenshot is from a fan project, not from the unfinished Fallout 3.

I dunno what I'm doing with my time. Props to the artist though.

Honestly, Danse [sp]turning into a surprise Enclave[/sp] would have been an interesting twist.
I hate how [sp] none of the synth replacements are ever explained. Art, Danse, University point, nick. None of it is EVER mentioned by anything in the institute. [/sp]
I hate how [sp] none of the synth replacements are ever explained. Art, Danse, University point, nick. None of it is EVER mentioned by anything in the institute. [/sp]
[sp]Nick was never expressly a replacement. He submitted his body to science before the war, was killed during experimentation, had his mind and memories replicated in a synth, and was later thrown out when the institute figured out how to build a custom synth AI from scratch, and had no more use for him or the experiment he was a part of.[/sp]
I hate how [sp] none of the synth replacements are ever explained. Art, Danse, University point, nick. None of it is EVER mentioned by anything in the institute. [/sp]
It's pretty weak, yeah. [sp] Does anyone know of any terminals or notes or anything that explain it, other than terminals that simply note the replacements? Because handwaving it as "institute moles just because" is a pretty shitty excuse. They could have done so much more and played way better head games if they actually had reasons for replaced synths other than supporting the idea that institute are boogeymen. [/sp]
I wish gibbing/dismemberment immunity wasn't a thing sometimes, it really makes killing certain enemies lack a level of satisfaction, but perhaps that's the whole point. What I dislike is the lack of consistency with it, since it seems to be so wild with who is immune and who isn't. There are people like Desdemona who are incapable of being dismembered, or mutilated in some way, but then you've got people like Kendra and Bullet, who I don't understand why they possess it. I also wish power armored enemies didn't have the same immunity. At the very least, the head should at least still be applicable, since it's the only location where the power armor completely get destroyed, and exposes the head, but deny me even that.
I hate how [sp] none of the synth replacements are ever explained. Art, Danse, University point, nick. None of it is EVER mentioned by anything in the institute. [/sp]
I always assumed[sp]at least with Danse he was a synth the Railroad helped escape from the Institute and had new memories and ended up joining up with the Brotherhood at some point. Sorta a decent contrast to the fellow in the ship city who ended up becoming a bandit.[/sp]
Are synths... fully functional?
Speaking of Danse, if anyone wanted him out of his power armor for whatever reason, have him as a companion, then open the console and enter "unequipall" after selecting him. Then have him "inspect" a terminal. He'll get out of his armor and after using "setownership" on it, can be entered with no repercussion. This won't leave a frame with the armor, though. [editline]18th February 2016[/editline]
Are synths... fully functional?
I already asked like 70 pages ago :v: They probably have proper genitals but are sterile to prevent them from having offspring. That's what I believe is why [sp]Deacon never realized his wife was a synth, and because Danse had to maybe have looked at his dick once and been like "Ok it's there" or something. I dunno[/sp]
Honestly, Danse [sp]turning into a surprise Enclave[/sp] would have been an interesting twist.
"remember all that stuff i said about ad victorium?, i really meant for the enclave!"
why do people want the enclave back why
I don't want to see them as a major main faction ever again, but they played a big part in the events of multiple games and they deserve a tiny bit of reference. Damn shame IMO that there wasn't one sidequest in Fallout 4 that deals with what happened the eastern enclave. Would have been cool as hell if the enclave had been secretly manipulating the commonwealth drug/arms trade and pulling a few strings from the shadows, up to their usual poltergeist shenanigans like in Fallout 2.
