Which tools are best suited for exporting models etc for Dota? I'm proficient at Maya and ZBrush for creating my stuff, but I'm willing to learn something else if it makes life easier when getting the content into the game.

Curious - do you guys think a mongolian-themed set for Axe would work out?
It most likely would. Imagine him with a huge Genghis Khan-like hat.
Well he is called Mogul Khan so yeah would fit. Axe already has a TON of cosmetics though, I'd prefer to see something for a hero who doesn't have (m)any yet like Chaos Knight or Skeleton King (but for the love of fuck no swords).
I think making cosmetics for CK would be a problem. I think his currently model is fantastic looking, the only thing I could think of changing might be the shield or the helmet, but both are still nice looking :v:

Valve has done an absolutely [i]fantastic[/i] job with his model, it's downright perfect.
I have an idea for a helm, it's just the process of learning Maya.

I learned Blender over the course of like two months, obviously my models are far from professional, but trust me, it's not as hard as it looks. Plus nowadays I don't think people do the poly-by-poly modelling, which seemed extremely daunting and boring to me.
It's just the process of relearning. I've used Blender for about a year.

I really like it. I think the shoulder item could be a little smaller though.

the fur on the hat doesnt look natural it looks like more of a solid, although it could just be 'frozen' in ice to make it look like that i guess
