I like it a lot except for the wings, which look really weird and not like functional wings. The way they curve makes them look long shield things or mouths with lots of teeth from the side. Not feathery enough.
The best thing of this set is that the wings are part of the bardings, meaning you can use the wings on any mount, or the mount without said wings. Little things like that are awesome.
your link is kind of messed up
Lol, whoops. Fixed, and here's the link again anyway. We've learned our lesson, and next time we'll make sure everything is functional before going to the modeling stage.
Speaking of old concepts, just found this, anyone might be interested?
Alright!
Speaking of old concepts, just found this, anyone might be interested? The front legs clip even in game...
It's a Valve animation problem. The default mount does the same, you just notice it less because they're hooves.
What do you guys think, yay or nay (For cm)

Well, yesterday i've finished my first Dota2 item!
Take tuskar's sigil model add it onto stick? Seems legit.
It's supposed to be like the encore which is basically naga's head with a fin. So yes, it's legit.
But the Encore is actually different from the base model, well made, and represents an actual relationship. Your Sigil Staff however is just a copypasta of the Sigil Model on a simple stick, try to either make the Sigil itself more interesting or do some changes to the wooden part, right now it's completely uninteresting to look at.
Can someone post a picture of the encore?

Gonna be the first to purchase your Nightbloom set!

It really strikes me though that your textures are super dark and really heavy on contrast. The baked lighting information and AO are really strong. I thought the same of you guys' CM set. It kind of gives this burnt feeling and isn't super appealing, to me at least. Looking at the Lion in-game, he's very mid-grey on the mane and generally dark and washed out. I think you should try to make the top of his mane and back flank more vibrant as well as maybe easing off the super dark areas of your texture in general. If you look at Valve's texture for Mirana's cat, it's pretty bright overall, not dark in creases or crevasses and the top to bottom value gradient is subtle.
I love that set a ton, its just a shame how much Miranas default face lets it down.

We definitely diverged from the default lion in terms of contrast and color breaks, though it was to make ours stand out from the original base model. We wanted the lion to be white, but have a few different gradients over it, including the dark burnt areas, which is dark fur around the feet and tail. We did a little more adjustment to the eyes today, to make him more stern, and we also whitenned the top of the lion's head, per your critique. We're fighting the daytime bloom, but we mighta taken it too far :) Making white creatures is always the hardest... Anyway, here's some pics from today! Hat for Tusk finished! :D Oh, and the "basket" too:
I've decided to try texturing my knife myself. I know I've posted this a bunch of times and I'm sorry if it's seemed unnecessary, but I'm going to ask one more time if you guys thing I should change anything about it. I think its worth following up on my previous critique for more clarity. What I am talking about is best explained using images. I think the mid-tones should be raised for a softer look, and that you should introduce more saturation and color to the mid and dark tones. Right now a lot of the dark and mid tonal areas are pretty grey rather than a soft blue-grey which gives the odd "burnt" look. Here's a couple examples showing how it is now vs how I think it could look. The changes I made are just raising the mid tone in levels, color balancing in some blue to the mid tones and then going back to levels and moving the left handle in to bring back some contrast. This doesn't raise the white level and shouldn't hurt too bad with the in-game bloom.
