Though you would have to improve your skills at modeling/sculpting to improve the model in general, I like your swords more than most of Naga´s swords, as you kept in mind a design based on light weaponry and swift attack. Good job
The model is not bad in fact, but the textures could use more work. Maybe something leather-like on the handle, maybe some engravings/patterns/details-about-the-material on the part that holds the blade...

Hey guys!
I've been slowly working on control rigs for all of the heroes in dota including their summons now. I put together a guide which I update whenever I finished a new rig package. For the summons I also included the default animations for importing into dota so you guys don't have to dig for them. I tested them with the default mesh exported from the rig and it all worked nicely. You can also use any of the hero rigs to skin your weapons for the importer.

Slark being one of my favorite heroes, I love the look of this weapon.
I just have one suggestion though, maybe remove the black on the point of the blade, at least to see how it looks like without it

I'd say to darken the red to more of a darker red hue like Slark's cape, it just looks a bit washed out compared to the rest of him.
