As for criticism: well, it's certainly not bad for a first time model! There's definitely a lot to improve on though.
- The models are pretty flat and don't have any real detail work on them. While this isn't something that's [I]inherently[/I] bad, when you're doing intricate texture work as you've done here, it just makes the item look like painted cardboard.
- Speaking of the intricate texture work, it's probably a little [I]too [/I]intricate. You're not going to see a lot of it in the real game view, and all it does is make the item look cluttered and breaks up the outline. You might want to think about a few strong shapes you want to evoke with the design and texture around those.
- The gold is also kind of an ugly shade and doesn't fit with his colour palette very well. Again, nothing inherently wrong with breaking the colour palette [I]when it's done appropriately[/I], but since there's so much gold here it's really overwhelming. Try experimenting with different shades of blue for the main detail work and use the gold to make important details pop out.
- Just a personal thing but I think the double 'fleur de lis' thing you have on the helm doesn't work out at all. I definitely wouldn't wear it even if the model and texture quality was improved. But there's definitely people out there who would!

As a side note, does anyone know what's going on with the Spring2014 tag? I was under the impression that you had to wait till they added the tag in the importer, ala the Polycount contest, but Valve seems to have manually added the tag to certain items already.

I almost feel bad for trying to give that guy feedback now.
You know what would be cool? A set of themed items split across several different heroes that would unlock a special effect when an entire team is wearing them. Imagine, I dunno, the "Tresdin's Legion" set where Axe, Centaur and LC get Legion-style armour (obviously in their palette and style) and then when you all wear it together you unlock new effects on Stampede, Duel and Culling Blade. Would be pretty rad if you had a team in TMM that had a signature line-up or whatever.
