I would do something to the tree so Jug becomes the important thing in the image along with the petals. You know, blur, less black color... your choice, but it makes the image feel clusterfucked in the middle as it is now

I'm in agreement with Petachepas. See the human eye likes to look at light areas first and darks last so right now alot of attention is being drawn to the lightest points; the mountains in the background, and juggs mask(which is good). But the rest of jugg pretty much completely recedes into the background in some areas.
Lastly, the tree, rocks and twigs are all in a completely different language as the rest of the piece, I would atleast try to paint over/simplify them to make them look a bit less like photographs.
Otherwise the composition is pretty strong, good work.

I don't know enough about in-game rendering or modeling to tell if that detail would be lost or not, but I can tell you I really like the design. And if you're going to ditch the one on the left, make sure to bring over the green glow to the other one.

Alrighty! Been a strange ride working on this item. Not only was it daring in terms of sillhoutte, but we added a floaty gem in the middle of it, the watcher's eye. Added a custom load out animation. Nothing too fancy but we believe it is better than the default one. Tweaked some of the animations that were clipping the weapon or had the weapon clipping the floor a bit. Finally, attempted to add a particle effect but found out that it requires a bit too much effort since LC doesn't have particles enabled by default as her default weapon doesn't even have it. So decided to show how it will look with a simple particle and if people like it, hopefully Valve can easily add it.

The bottom of the axe is too long compared to the pole, meaning it looks strange because in real life it would be unusable

I think you guys are kinda overreacting to an axe being unrealistic. The model looks baller and it is far from the first crazy proportioned weapon in the game.

I unno. I think the design is a little boring because of the angles. I've never seen a battle axe with so many straight lines before either.
I kind of like the design of the axe but it is way too big, Axe can work with big axes because he is a big guy and his attack animation is slow, but LC isn't huge and she attacks way too fast for such a big weapon.

Sorry man, that doesn't look good. I mean, it's a videogame and all so realism can be forgotten a bit... but not to this point.
Just imagine some one giving Sniper a Flak 88 as rifle, its a videogame but yeah even videogames have some kind of physics and stuff like that.
This axe's head is HUGE as not even fitting for Axe, and just look at the thickness of that metal. Tidehunter could hold this and maybe swing it, but not Legion.
The model is cool though, but I'll suggest transforming it into some kind of Halberd, that would fit more if given the right proportions. Just look the thumbnail for the workshop you did, and think of that head as being smaller and the handle shown as a part of a long pole (that obviusly can't fit into the image). You have to adjust the pole thickness and such but yeah, that's my opinion.
I also suggest you to post your stuff as you do it, instead of just the finished model

I agree with most of this. As a correctly-proportioned halberd that blade would look AWESOME and be much more fitting to Legion. As it is right now it looks like a super human could wield it, and Legion is merely a strong, vicious commander -- not a super human.
I think part of the problem is the loadout animation you created. It's a cool animation but it doesn't fit how fucking heavy this weapon looks. The way she's holding it like it's almost weightless makes it look unbelievably awkward.. like she is either god-like in strength or the weapon is made out of styrofoam and thats why she can wield it so effortlessly. I think her normal animations in-game are meant for a much lighter weapon and so they will look pretty weird as well. The weapon itself is pretty cool in design but the proportions are just way too wonky for her. I think if you scaled the blade down even 30-40% it would make a HUGE difference.
Edit: Also the red floating line in the middle is really distracting and unnecessary.. I would do without it.

THe thing is ingame it looks a little bit different. I relied heavily on the 3DSMAX Dota 2 shader when working on the shaders and it looks like there's a few rendering differences.

I like how the skull turned out but I really don't like how the flame body got darker and less of a gradient. I'm going to guess this is because I can't have it full on self illuminated without affecting the skull. I'll experiment with the normal color map to see if I can get the flame body to be more like the 3DSMAX render. Feedback appreciated!
Maybe ask on the Polycount for help? Also the only think that bothers me that the particles are going out of the head, which i do not like to see.

Textures on the molten (yellow-orange-red) parts are way too flat, makes all those edges in the geometry pop out in a bad way. The head itself looks badass, but it looks as if you spent most of the time working on the head and just sort of made rest of the body in like 2 minutes.
