Looks awfully short, but other than that I like the design a lot.
The preview picture almost makes it looks like an item for Pugna, which is also pretty neat.

I wanted to avoid the top of the staff clipping with the particle system. It looked pretty bad when it did.

Maybe you could make a separate version, and if it gets ingame, ask Valve to implement the longer staff if they remove the particle effect, and if they don't remove it, keep the short one.

Thing is, it looks odd and a little forced. In the other side, the custom psi trap is pretty cool.

the big A looks way less forced than the one for the alchemist set. i never would have even noticed this one if it weren't specifically labeled for alliance pro gear, and even then i dont think it stands out all that much

Have you tried to make it asymmetrical (Vest and bracers mainly: One hand would have a sleeve & bracer, other one would be more bare)
