Alright, so I bought it and I suffer from the same problem as I had in Battlefield 4. Insane stuttering that makes it unplayable. Hurr Hurr Frostbite 3 what did I expect. Though with Battlefield 4, I could run the game in 32bit mode and solve the issue and could then run it perfectly fine cranked way the fuck up. But no such setting exists in the launch options for Inquisition. Does anyone know of a command line to force it?
anyone still concerned about the denovu DRM and how it's rumored to kill SSD's? I know I am concerned about this, and if this is true... I'm moving this game to my HDD instead of my SSD.

If it's happening in cutscenes and you have an nvidia card, I know that turning HPET off in both windows and the BIOS fixes it.
Right now that seems like pure speculation with no real proof.

If I turn 180 I get to wait a couple seconds. It's battlefield 4 levels of bad, but with BF4 you could switch to 32bit mode and it would stop stuttering so bad from trying to use RAM that wasn't there. If I could just force it I'd be happy. I guess I'll have to buy some RAM soon. Framerate is at least good on my HD7850
How much and what kind of RAM do you have?
It's 2x2GB Corsair @1300mhz, Dual Channeled, though. It's enough if I could force 32bit like I do with Battlefield 4, but 64bit, not a fucking chance
thoughts so far? not sure if i want to buy it now or wait until it goes on sale (or you know the other option i can do that isn't available yet wink wink) how's it compare to da:o or da2? 2 was pretty shit but the combat was fun.
It's 2x2GB Corsair @1300mhz, Dual Channeled, though
I found your problem.
I am completely shocked at how Cole is an OK character. It's like the bio on the website was written by an intern, it doesn't even resemble him.
I'M SO GOING TO BOUND WITH THIS WOMAN
Go with a Witty!Hawke the whole way through and the confusion factor becomes even more funny for everyone. [sp]Once or twice a chapter the funny option makes combat just a tad easier.[/sp]

Switched to a controller after about 2 hours of kb + mouse, much more enjoyable.
I dont know weather i want to do a DW Rogue, Archer rogue or FUCKING ARCANE WARRIOR 2.0 first.
holy shit guys look at the shield i just found
I suggest you cheese it for all its worth
Switched to a controller after about 2 hours of kb + mouse, much more enjoyable.
Apparently there's some kind of bug with the PC controls or something.
I'm about to go fight a giant. The last giant I fought barely got beat by me, it was at half health from a dragon. This is probably gonna go horribly. So I'm going to stream it for people interested in the game but are hesitant. Playing a two handed warrior. I'm gonna try and fight a dragon as well. http://www.twitch.tv/truedarkrei9n

To anyone that can confirm, do the choices from Dragon Age: Origins affect Inquisition in a lot of ways?
Anyone else having major weird pathfinding bugs with sword and shield characters? Like, tell Cassandra to shield bash and she dances around for like 4 seconds. Also, getting bugs where my mages in tactical view will attack normally maybe once per second instead of constantly doing the combo.
Does anyone have that tutorial for buying through Brazilian(?) Origin? woops, I mean Mexican.
Yeah does anyone have a VPN to unlock it with?
To anyone that can confirm, do the choices from Dragon Age: Origins affect Inquisition in a lot of ways?
I've not played yet but not all the DA:O choices were available in The Keep so that's a load out. From what I've seen it's mostly been dialogue and certain characters appearing or not appearing. From what I've seen DA2 has more of an influence on plot details (The Qunari in Kirkwall, the Mage V Templar war, Anders) but DA:O choices can change parts of the world (IE: Who's king/queen of Ferelden)

So how is the story writing so far? I hope its better than ME3.
Ok, so for those looking to buy it for $40 on Mexican Origin, I figured it out: Go to Origin's website Log in Use Hola Unblocker to switch to a Mexican server Click the banner for DA:I, add to cart Buy as you normally would (it should log you back in automatically) Play. Sitting on the purchase screen....buy or no? I have a controller to play with and I got bitten in the ass by fucking Unity, so I'm skeptical.
