So yeah dragons, they are tough.
So to anyone one a PC and has it installed on an SSD, does anyone know if the DRM is really messing with the SSD?
That has not been confirmed, it's pure speculation at this time.
Seriously this bug with Cassandra is crazy. I tell her to attack a bear and she starts flying all over the place when she gets close.

Looks pretty debunked to me.
I guess this means I finally have to upgrade my dual core. RIP dear friend.
I am sieging a castle. This is gonna be a fun day.
So hows the game so far?
Quite good with lots of stuff to do. But minor things to nitpick so far

Spoiler alert for that image, its just a picture of the fade and pretty much nothing else but there's something very obvious in the background.
[sp]IE A breach on the fade side of things[/sp]

This one should be completely spoiler free in the fade.
I've still only just played Multiplayer, with a Level 14 Archer and a n 8 Assassin. The multiplayer needs a patch. It has this weird thing with movement that feels laggy, and melee combat is clunky. You have to wait for your swings to finish, eat a sandwhich, then you can move again. If you bump into your team mates then you warp like a mad man
And here is a huge spoiler because its a boss fight. No text, not context.

I've got minor issues with it, namely that the mouse/keyboard controls feel less comfortable to me than gamepad, some of the dialogue feels stilted, and a good chunk of the animations have that signature Bioware stiffness to them. Those issues aside though, I'm having a great time; the world is huge and fun to explore and it feels like every little sidequest I do actually has a positive impact on the overall story which is something I can't say for most RPGs.

The more I play it the more I love it. It's really awesome so far, very enjoyable.
I'm messed up. I thought Cullen could be romanced by Male characters. Apparently not
I have to say, i'm impressed with this game so far. It's nice to be impressed with a Bioware game again. The size of the game is overwhelming at first, but it begins to grow on you.
I am not impressed with the number of bugs and the shit response from Bioware however. They delayed this game in order to 'polish' it up, they didn't do much polishing.

It could be worse. I made a male character, but for some reason the game reads my character as female. I didn't figure it out until I tried to romance Cassandra and couldn't. Since I was only 17 hours in, I decided to make another game just to make sure everything is right and to kind of change up a few tactics and decisions. On this second one though, everything is going much smoother because I'm used to it now. I'm actually able to pay attention to the story.

Is there a way to redesign your character's face? Like a cheat or something?
Seeing the PC version makes me wish I didn't have it on PS4
Still looks great on PS4 that said. And I'm renting it, so the cost is only going to be somewhere around $15-$20 for the month.
anyone still concerned about the denovu DRM and how it's rumored to kill SSD's? I know I am concerned about this, and if this is true... I'm moving this game to my HDD instead of my SSD.
100% bullshit spread by pirates who are upset they can't pirate the game. Same exact FUD spread when lords of the fallen came out except in that case it was performance claims.
How the hell do I get to the apostate cache next to Lornan's Exile?
It's actually right on the edge of the quest area, were you to walk a straight line from Lornan's Exile to the World Map gate, it'd be on your left as you walk over the hill.
Also, if I try to use a custom appearance Hawke, my character switches his accent.
This is a known issue, and it's one of the few things Bioware has stated that they are going to patch.
Managed to finish a couple multiplayer runs on the second highest difficulty. Shit ain't no joke. But you get about 850G upon completion. Little loot piles drop about 20G each, Treasure Chests about 50G, and Bunnies 100G. Compared to 12G, 32G, and 65G respectively
Just bought the game, now it takes another 8 hours to download. :suicide: I wanna play!
Does anyone have some locations for logging stands? I got to Skyhold and need them to upgrade the castle.
[editline]20th November 2014[/editline]
Nevermind, when you get the Inquisition perk "Forward Scouts" they will show up on your map.
After 18 hours I just reached Skyhold. This game really gives the same feeling Origins gave to me, although with a bit worse writing.
Cole is terrible and i regret i didnt kick him out.
And (First Skyhold visit spoiler) [sp]Female hawkes voice is super low and sounds like a bad mod, sounds nowhere near how she did in DA2[/sp]
A bit too early to ask but is there ultimate armor like in DA2 (The Mantle of the Champion)? There is one in all promotional art but I'd love if someone can confirm.
This runs really great
But having some problems with flickering of textures and foilage when using SLI
Noticed people on other forums had this aswell
Hope they fix it
