So Mages or Templars, I'm really torn over this decision.
The more I play the more I'm loving this. Couple questions though: How do you advance romances? [sp]I just hit Skyhold and tried to chat up Josephine for a "castle tour" but she brushed it off or something. Do I just need to do more main quest stuff to get more chances?[/sp] And where are some better merchants after Haven? The merchant had no variety and the gear was shitty anyway. Skyhold doesn't seem to have one.

Do you guys read everything as soon as you get it, or save the reading till you finish your session/begin it? Or don't you read at all? haha Oh and I mean all the letters and codex's and shit.
Oh my fucking god I love Dorian too much. He's like a mix of Oghren,Allistar, and a little bit a Varric.
Does anyone know how to take another look at those pictures of land with an arrow to where the secret cave or whatever is? Can't find them anywhere. [editline]21st November 2014[/editline] Nevermind.
Damn, the world is huge. So far no complaints except for fetch quests. Those are really boring and hurt my experience as side quest completionist.

I have confirmed that even dragons have to sleep. http://puu.sh/d0qEY/5d2e32ea85.jpg
I was playing yesterday, I see a dragon and a giant fighting. Myself as a person blurts out, "Fucking sweet!" Iron Bull says "Thats fucking awesome!" Sera (serah? fuck) goes "We can watch from here yes?" So I stood there and watched a bit. I got bored before either killed each-other if that is even possible. This was yesterday so sorry if I got the quotes off but pretty much that was it.
Just got Sera, man she's fucking awesome.
Requesting the thread title be changed to Dragon Age: Inquisition Megathread: Ride the Bull Edition
i'm gonna roll a female dorf and romance iron bull, just because it'll be hilarious
Knight Enchanter OP with full tree I 1v1 the dragon in crestwood without taking any health damage
Knight Enchanter OP with full tree I 1v1 the dragon in crestwood without taking any health damage
After looking it up, I now regret becoming a rift mage. Besides a few crashes, I've finally encountered a bug. My character's skin tone has become slightly darker. Not much of a problem, but I didn't notice it until I reloaded an earlier save.

Finally looted a decent staff in multiplayer. Staffs have the lowest damage output of all the weapons, able to maybe hit 120-130DPS if you have a perfect rune [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/gsBybBk.png[/img_thumb]
Do world states change much?
So... You know that guy who attempted to stop you from getting into the Mage Tower in the first game? Who can be bribed cookies? [sp]According to the notes, he's a Knight Captain in the Red Templars. Oh, and that Lyrium addict Templar from 2 is also working with Coryphaeus(?) from what I saw in the Haven cinematic.[/sp] that's... quite the achievement, for somebody like that. [editline]22nd November 2014[/editline]
[t]http://i.imgur.com/3gex7iP.jpg[/t] my dorf
Wow. Fenris shrunk and got tangoed. And from what I can see grew a dorf sized set of chesticles. Fenris, you're weird.
Me: "Solus please step out of the dragonfire, your barrier won't hold!" Solus: "NAH NAH MAN IT'S K I'M JUST GOING TO CONSUME ALL THE HEALTH POTIONS YOU HAVE UNTIL- AAUFAF" -Dragon fight summarized
How do you know when you're good enough to travel to another area? Should I do everything in the Hinterlands before I move on? Or can I just go wherever I want and do shit. Also, I'm yet to be referred to as the 'Inquisitor'.
When do I get a specialization? Can I use Hidden Blade skills (Assassin) while equipped with a bow? Seems like I could and it would be awesome. also, I've found two caves that have unopenable stone doors. Wat do.

Don't linger in the Hinterlands too long, the interesting stuff are outside there
Okay, so I've been looking everywhere, but how do I learn a specialization? I want my tank Inquisitor to be a champion
I'm really confused by the crafting in this game. I have a ton of upgrades but I can't attach any of them to anything. For instance, I have a lvl 10 grip upgrade that gives increased flanking damage, and I also have a lvl 11 dagger with an empty grip slot. But I can't equip the upgrade. Do the weapon and the upgrade have to be exactly the same lvl? Must they have the same rarity?
There is so much content in this game that it's overwhelming. I want to digest all the information straight away. Just as I grasp one part of the plot/lore/mechanics another thing pops up and confuses me. I guess that after a certain amount of playtime everything will make sense. Also, I wish more conversations took the cinematic route, instead of the face to face third person camera thing going on. It's too static and bores me. Doesn't engage me with the scene or the characters as much as it could or should. Kills my attention span which leads to an asphyxiation of my ability to digest and understand the lore.
Cannot fucking find essence containment apparatuses. Doesn't help that they're supposedly found in areas of Storm Coast. Unlabeled areas of Storm Coast.
Man, kinda regretting being a warrior thinking about restarting
