You can find him in the library in Skyhold.
Ah, thanks. I assume talking to him for the first time will open him for my party then? Vivienne is such a fucking cunt to everyone in the group. Especially Blackwall. Everytime one of them opens their mouth when they're together I just think "oh god, poor Blackwall".
Someone's character in a Post Your thread some place. All I can see is ABC [sp]Amy's Baking Company[/sp]
I've recently discovered that Dwarves do indeed have magical powers. Varric when using one of his special abilities will duplicate his attacks but by sheer luck if you do the jumping shot ability at an angle Varric enters space. To my knowledge Dorfs are the first people in space and have a reliable means of transportation.
I can't seem to find this info but at what point can I choose a specialization? Is it based on level or story?

The framerate is fine (Mostly, the hugely populated areas slow down a bit) but the stuttering kills me, so I have to drop anything that uses too much RAM Can't wait to get myself some more RAM so I can crank textures to High and switch Mantle on and frollick stutter free
So on a scale of 1-10 how fun is this? sorry for asking this question. I enjoyed DA2 a bit, didnt beat it, and I never played Origins prior. I played Origins, was a little in-to it, but never had time. I need an RPG for the winter to hold me over until Witcher 3 comes out.
so far it's like an 8 [editline]22nd November 2014[/editline] and i'm not very far into it
I have the frame rate fix already and while it makes the game playable I still get microstuttering wat do
Frame rate fix?
Frame rate fix?
TBH when I changed my resolution settings from 1920x1080 to 1280x720 it ended up giving me 15-20 FPS boost.

Also RAM size probably won't help stuttering with higher res textures, especially if your cards like mine with 1gb of VRAM, since it dumps and reads excess textures from the memory which is half of the stutter problem. That sums up my attempts at putting it to high with the same card and 8gb of ram anyways.
game keeps randomly crashing, I can't play more than a few minutes, I meet the minimum requirements, what do I do?
game keeps randomly crashing, I can't play more than a few minutes, I meet the minimum requirements, what do I do?
Did you install the new driver?
yes
yes
Did you install the old driver?
Did you install the old driver?
explain?

But I chalk it up to not having the RAM for it as the usage is really heavy. I forced BF4 to use 32bit so it wouldn't use RAM that I didn't have and it completely eliminated all my stuttering and I was able to run the game perfectly fine. Exact same settings, 64 bit, completely unplayable to this date. I can't do that with Inquisition, though, and it's the exact same issue. If only I could force it. I've only got 4Gb so I'm certain it'll help my stuttering, at least, since audio and shit is also stuttering. Also, Post Processing on Ultra causes cutscenes to fucking die, locking up and running one frame every couple seconds, but on High they seem to run as they should. And the framerate between the two during gameplay doesn't change. Really weird Origin has a drop down that lets you run BF4 in X86 mode. Inquisition does not. Both are on Frostbite 3 so surely there's a way. Does anyone know of a command line that will do it?
Hm...kind of want to become a Templar. Then agian, Reaver is always hilarious. How's Templar? Damage-y or more for tanks? What weapons do they use?
So, got into Dragon Age II awhile ago before I start with Inquisition and I'm actually enjoying it so far. What really bothers me when you're playing a mage are people going "You're a mage?!?!!1 :OO" after seeing you participate in a fight. Like the big fucking stick on the back of every "surprise" mage wasn't enough to clue them in.

How can they animate dragons so well then having human animations as stiff as the wood post in my backyard.

Where can I get this for PS4 at a cheap price?
This game is great so far, its nice to get into an rpg again.
How can they animate dragons so well then having human animations as stiff as the wood post in my backyard.
Heh, I see it as the other way around. The animations are incredible imo, and the only time I've seen a dragon it looked like shit flying through the sky. edit: Except the horses...the animations for the horses walking is good, but galloping is fucking awful. You look stiff as a motherfucker while galloping, nevermind the stupid little wind streamers they felt necessary to add.
First game in a long while that I didn't get to finish in a single weekend, I don't even know if I've passed the 50% mark [Sp]Morrigan just joined the inquisition[/sp]
Is Inquisition worth buying? I really enjoyed DA: Origins but DA2 was really meh.
Yes it is. Also about those shards guys, my suggestion is collect them when you can in ANY zone. In the Forbidden Oasis there is a cave that has 3 locked doors that can be unlocked via shards from any zone. You need well over 100 shards to open all the doors so I guess it's not meant to be done early on but the doors contain some nice loot, resistances for fire, cold etc. so it's worth investing into it when you got the time. [editline]23rd November 2014[/editline] P.S. Post your Inquisitors. I found a unique armor from some boss, it looks pretty nice I think. [t]http://i5.minus.com/ib09lRrts0IBM7.png[/t]
