Anders just felt... really forced in the AHH IM A MAGE WITH A SPIRIT STOP OPPRESSING US CIS-TEMPLAR SCUM. Merrill was so, so cringyworthy at just waifu pandering. Isabella i personally liked. Varric is baller as fuck.
I really did hate how they turned Anders from an alright guy in Awakening to "have sex with me or I'll slightly dislike you" in DA2. Varric was always with me in DA2, and will always be with me in Inquisition. Best member ever.
Dorian: "Just one time I'd like to enter a cave and find normal-sized spiders! I've found the perfect party comp: Dorian, Blackwall, Cass, with Black tanking and Cass Templar-demonslayingdps. The banter between them is awesome, and unlike the fucking cunt Vivienne, Dorian is a cool dude. Not gonna lie, I (ignorantly) assumed all the love for Dorian was because "heyyy first fully-gay character woo progressiveness!", but he is pretty cool. Not to mention looks like a badass in my game. I can't remember the last time I had such fun with an RPG. Every zone has awesome atmosphere, especially Storm Coast and Fallow Mire (though I've really only been to maybe 2 or 3 zones outside of those so I dunno how far I am explo wise). Only real issues I have are the oft-moronic AI not following orders and such as well as the fact that I wish there were more deep caves to explore. Haven't found very many that go beyond a few tunnels/rooms. Game's gorgeous, runs rather well on high with my 560 surprisingly. Bravo, Bioware. So I just finished my first playthrough, and after looking around a bit I realized that this might not be how things are supposed to look. This is black hair. Is this right? Doesn't look right. [t]http://i.imgur.com/KLbllGJ.png[/t]
This game is lovely but I for whatever reason literally every time I go into a cutscene I have a 50/50 chance of the the game or video driver randomly crashing. It never does it during gameplay just cutscenes. I just updated the driver on my nvidia 760 the other day but this is frustrating as shit.

I just defeated the [sp]Abyssal High dragon [/sp] Hooooly shit those fights are so tense, and awesome. Blackwall just gave not a single fuck and [sp]REFLECTED A FUCKING FIREBALL OFF HIS GODAMN SHIELD. HOLY SHIT CAN HE EVEN GET MORE BADASS?[/sp]
What are your mesh quality settings? For some reason anything less than high makes most hair look like lumps of plastic.
Oh yeah that was it. Fuck me for not looking this up earlier.
Ran into a High Dragon fighting a Giant. Hightailed outta there.
Anyone else get a bug on Promise of Destruction? I basically completed the quest but it's still in my log with "explore the castle" unticked. Cass is MIA as well. edit: actually Cass is back but the quest is still doing its thing. Looks to be just a minor bug, as the quest definitely completed.
It was a huge mistake making a companion a Day 1 DLC/preorder exclusive.
wait which companion?
Is this worth picking up for $50? I hate how $60 seems to be the new price so even with discounts you're basically getting normal price.
Games have been $60 more than they've been $50. Even SNES there were some games that sold for $60 I got DA:I for $39.99 on Origin itself. So eat it, EA Then again I basically bought the multiplayer portion of the game since singleplayer is unplayable
Are there any choices from DA:O or DAII that effect Inquisition but aren't included in Dragon Age Keep?
Buy from Mexico Origin for $40.
Do you have a guide for that? $40 isn't too bad a price. EDIT: Got it. Here's a repost of the process from earlier in the thread if anyone needs it: Go to Origin's website Log in Use Hola Unblocker to switch to a Mexican server Click the banner for DA:I, add to cart Buy as you normally would (it should log you back in automatically) Play.
I'm kinda sad Bohdan and Sandal aren't in Inquisition it's fucking disgraceful.
So many people doing the Mexican Origin thing, that they're going to totally fix that
So many people doing the Mexican Origin thing, that they're going to totally fix that
It's EA man, they don't fix things, only break things.
So many people doing the Mexican Origin thing, that they're going to totally fix that
I doubt it, they probably take anything they can get if it means one sale for them and not for Steam.
If only I still qualify for a refund then I can recover my $20
It probably represents such a narrow margin of total sales that they won't notice or care.
Did Bioware say anything about modability? Currently the only mod I want is to wear something different in Skyhold than this shitty tan outfit. I'm the goddamn Inquisitor, I should be wearing something a little more respectable. Hell there's already a lot of customization for Skyhold. You can choose different banners, windows, thrones which empire's flag you want engraved into your royal toilet seat but you're stuck to one outfit. Laaame.

Used my reward points with GAME to get DA:I for £34.99 on PS4.
Having finally finished the original again, can I just say that, if it weren't for the fact that you get to pick up Oghren, Orzammar might be my least favorite part of the main storyline? For God's sake, this is a part that really is in dire need of pruning, it goes on forever, especially going after Branka. [editline]24th November 2014[/editline]
so you got 5 dollars off? dunno how many reward points you had banked/how much you get per full priced purchase but thats rough dude
It's more in the region of 15 pounds off.
I've played Dragon Age II for an hour or so yesterday evening I just got to Kirkwall, so it's a bit early to make conclusions. Suffice to say, I've never seen a rogue in any RPG I've ever played to chain hits THAT fast This is my character, anyway: [t]http://s1.postimg.org/694wdan1p/2014_11_23_00004.jpg[/t] He looks like myself, just hit by anorexia and with a far longer goatee. It's the best I could came up with thanks to a mod
I give up with this piece of shit game. As far as a game goes, it's perfectly fine. But from a technical point of view, it's garbage. I've been reading nothing but forum posts and shit and it's all the same. Stutters. Freezes. Crashes. Cutscenes and quests that aren't triggering blocking progression. Your character's voice swapping genders mid-way through the game. The whole works. Now I can't even play, as shit as my performance already is, because it locks up on the load screen when I try to exit the area I'm in. Not only does it lock up, my CPU usage acts like I just switched on Prime95 until I end task that shit before it melts. I was wondering while my load screen was taking longer than normal why a jet was flying so low. Took my headset off, it was my CPU fan, hitting 5800 RPMs Anyway, I'm done until a patch.
so you got 5 dollars off? dunno how many reward points you had banked/how much you get per full priced purchase but thats rough dude
Wow no, I got £10 off it, so like $15.60
Are there any choices from DA:O or DAII that effect Inquisition but aren't included in Dragon Age Keep?
No that's impossible. It only imports the choices from The Keep. They're the only ones that ever happened now as far as the game is concerned.
Soo i am thinking about getting this and need crucial FP opinion. for me it's 40 bucks for digital deluxe edition soo i am just wodnering whenever i should get it if i was interested in DAO for story and combat, and ignored DA2 as whole except watching cutscenes online.
