So after installing Inquisition to a new machine my game freeze at the start screen. Despite the fact I'm well above the minimum requirements. Joy.
Man, Cole is nothing like I expected from that awful bio they made for him.
His bio makes him out to be some sort of too edgy to live guy, but he's just a weird kid who is very sensitive to feelings and wants to help people.
Wow this makes no damn sense. New machine I have is easily better than my one, graphics card is better, more ram, better CPU. But anything that's fucking above 720 and anything 60 hertz refreash rate ends up killing my fucking FPS, that makes no damn sense, granted it's a laptop but it's fucking entirely capable of running this game but can't
Wish the inquisitor's armor didn't look so same-y all the time...

Well my PC is dying. It has trouble booting up, and has been for the past few days. I was hoping to finish Inquisition as a final farewell to it until I could afford a new one.
So I managed to finish the story (37 hours) and I have just realised I entirely missed Vivienne, I didn't see or hear of her. Where the hell was I supposed to meet/acquire her :v:?
Also while I'm here, here's my classy as fuck Qunari inquisitor, with less than classy face paint.

Can you continue past the ending and finish quests you missed?

This needs to be a thing, and so does level scaling, honestly, so that no matter what your favorite character will always be challenged and can always be improved
I had to increase the fans on my gpu to stop the game from crashing, even though fps seems alright. Never had to do that with any other game ever, even games that are heavier like ac unity. Also had a few crashes upon entering and exiting the main menu and once a weird problem where the game suddenly only thought I had only 1,5 gb ram. Definitely something weird going on with this game. But when it runs it runs perfectly with good fps.

So I take it once you go for the final mission it's over afterwards?
No, you can keep free roaming after the final boss. The only quests that I know of that you can't do any more are companion quests so do those before hitting the final mission.
How do I get to Crestwood?
How do I get to Crestwood?
Unlock it in act 2? Via the war table.
EDIT: might only be possible after talking to Varric in Skyhold and asking [sp]Hawke about their Grey Warden buddy[/sp]

Is it straight up called Crestwood at the table?
Is it straight up called Crestwood at the table?
If I remember correctly, yeah.
It's not there for some reason
About companion quests, is one of them for example the Red Lyrium for Varric? And will you trigger them only after you have specific approval?

Ask about red lyrium when talking to him, an does anyone know how to force laptop monitors refresh rate from 60 to 40? I can't seem to run the game on my newer laptop despite my older one being able to
Anyone know what the max tier of weapons and armor are? I've tried looking around but got mixed results. Some people say 3, while others say it goes as high as 6.
I need some advice. I'm considering buying DA: I but i dunno if i'll like it. I hated Dragon Age 2, what will i think about DA: I?

Did you like DA:O? Go for it
Did you like DA:O? Go for it
I loved DA:O, spent like 150 hours on it. So DA:I is more like DA:O than DA2?
So, Cassandra is like Ashley Williams in the Dragon Age setting?
She could be the one, after all ...

I haven't played Dragon Age 2, but I've spent over 100 hours in Dragon Age: Origins and I'm currently loving Inquisition. Combat feels great, I didn't think I'd enjoy the action style combat but I actually do. I'm only a few hours in. The story feels a bit weaker then DA:O but is still good.

A lot of people compare the combat to DA2 but I don't feel that way. It's faster sure, but I think there's much more to it than in DA2 thus much better. Other than that it's more similar to Origins. I really think DA:I is so good it doesn't deserved to be compared to DA2. It's a waste of time because everything is better in DA:I.
Just killed my first dragon. Holy shit.
Is it just me or are the side quests a hundred times more limited in Inquisition than in Origins and its sequel? Don't get me wrong, I love the game and all, but holy shit there are few ways you can deal with assignments. [sp]Call me Imshael[/sp] lets you make one choice, but outside of that one I can't recall a single side quest that offered any kind of options. If you are ordered to kill someone you have to kill them, they don't even offer you the courtesy of talking things through before they attack. If you are to retrieve or destroy things you do so, you can't keep them to yourself.
Even though it takes place in an open world, its side quests feel more linear than ever, like something straight out of a dull MMO.
And off we go to DA2. Female warrior, Aveline, Isabela and Bethany. Amazon Army, ho!
I'm picking Anders as a healer over Bethany because, frankly, a male character with an all-female party would be ... would look ... wrong
